Remarks

Hello! In vgec Chandkheda you can get admission by acpc counselling. Through acpc counselling, you can get admission to any college in Gujarat. Acpc rank is made by 60% board score and 40% gujcet score. And in the choice filling of acpc counselling, I get admission in vgec Chandkheda.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I am a student of computer engineering in vgec because I interested in the computer field. In vgec Chandkheda computer engineering branch all faculty are very knowledgeable and well educated. The teaching methods of faculty is very good and interesting. College does not concentrate on only education but also concentrate on overall development. Exam papers in vgec are not very hard and not very easy it is moderate level.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 3000 per year

Internships Opportunities

4.5

The internship opportunity is the same good as placement. In vgec many big companies visit to hire students as interns and employees. Top recruiters of vgec are TCS, Tech Mahindra, IBM, Thomson Returns, L&T infotech, Tatvasoft, GNFC, INFOSYS and torrent power. And as interns students do work like app development, web development, database management etc.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placement of vgec Chandkheda is very good in CE, IT and EC branch. We talk about CE branch. Aproox 90% student placed in campus. And the average package is 4-5 LPA. I am not interested in placement because I don't want to work as a employees I'm interested in start my own start up in college. And vgec is very good for entrepreneurs and start up aspirants.

Fees and Financial Aid

In vgec Chandkheda tuition fees is 1500 rs per sem it is very low. Hostel fees of vgec Chandkheda is 1260 rs per sem. College not provide any scholarship personally but accept scholarship of Gujrat government like MYSY, Digital Gujarat etc.

Campus Life

4.5

The campus of vgec Chandkheda is very big and clean. There are many trees on campus and the campus is very good for nature lovers. Every year vgec arrange many fests like tech feast, sports competition etc. Vgec has a very big and good library. Many groups in vgec are active by students and college like NCC, NSS, SSC. One negative point of infrastructure is the sports ground in vgec basketball court is very good but the condition of cricket and football ground is not so good.

Hostel Facilities

Vgec's hostel is very good as compared to other government colleges' hostels. In the hostel room, you can get one bed, study table and chair by the college. In the vgec's campus to canteen are available. First is vgec Canteen and second is GTU Canteen. Quality of food invgec Canteen is not good but the quality of GTU Canteen food is good. Admission to the hostel is based on your acpc rank because the hostel capacity of vgec is 1000 students so all students can't get a room in the hostel. In the hostel 1 room is allocated to 3 students. If you can't get a hostel in vgec so don't worry because many pg and room on rent are available nearby campus.

Hostel Fee: INR 2520 per year

The parul university review

Likes

The campus view is awesome we all will see new things everytime and it feels fresh at the morning.
The personal development of particular students have been in focus of every faculty which is awesome.
The behaviour towards students of every professor is the best all are understanding and calm towards students.

Dislikes

There is a system of gate pass means whenever u need to go out of main gate with the permission we are not allowed to go.
In hostel the washrooms are not so clean for the students with common washroom hostel
The mess food are boring sometimes and the food of the food seems to be same everytime

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I have a great interest in coding and this field is based on coding so i choosed the computer field. -The curriculum of the college are based on the things which will help us in future for real world application. -The way they i based on pdf means they make a full note of a subject in pdf and explain that and which makes clear to us so I don't think they should change. -There is a enough time to study for exams it depends on us how me manage it and the difficulty level is medium it is based on what we have understood till now in studies we have studied.

mess food is not so good, its managable but sometimes it feels miserable
for every small thing to be done, lots of paperwork is required whether you need to go outside the campus or needs a NOC

Placement Experience:

in my unversity, proper placements usually start from 7th sem, however after 4th sem, the collage provides the opputunity to go for impact traning if youve got more than 60% in your 10th, 12th and throughtout the semesters from that traning top permorning student get a chance to sit for product-based companies. as of now (jan 2026), the highest placement recorded is 60lpa at microsoft, the average is aroudn 3.5 lps to 6 lpa, most of the recruiting companies are service based such as capgemini, infosys, tcs etc. around 200-250 students gets palce after heavy filtering, i plan to go for higher studies,
