I applied for the National Institute Of Science and Technology, Berhampur and ITER, Siksha 'O' Anusandhan but I was not able to apply for ITER due to some family problems. No, I have not availed of any quota for admission. Admission criteria for a program such as minimum marks should be 58-60 and age while admission should be of birth 1999,2000,2001. There will take admission through your JEE or OJEE marks. You have to register for the counselling program and have to select branches of 3 priorities and they will take your 10th, 12 mark sheet.
Course Curriculum Overview
I was interested in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The ratio of faculty: student 20:72. Qualification of faculty: PhD and MTECH in NIT, IIT and reputed institutes. Each year there will be 2 semesters and we have to follow notes and lectures to pass.
Internships Opportunities
Edgate technologies offer internship on Advance Embedded system and protocols. Sand Bird Research and Development Pvt. Ltd offers internships in BLDC motors and controllers. If they will perform well they can also get an offer letter.
Placement Experience
From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Western digital, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Tadigital, Tech Mahindra, ValueLabs etc and offers made in very good numbers. The highest package is 19.5 lakh per annum and the average is 6.5. 70% of students getting placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
For Btech Fees per year is 1,16,000 for localities and for hostilities it is 1,30,000. There is a scholarship for 1st year where 10th and +2 > 85% and Continuation CGPA > 8.0 has a Fee Waiver of 50% for Core branches.
Campus Life
The annual fest happens at the end of each year between Jan-Mar and the Tech fest happens between Nov-Dec. Will get every book related to your course in the library. The classroom will be normal as everywhere. There are sports like Cricket, Kabbadi, Basketball, Volleyball are played and Intercollege tournaments are also organised. There are many clubs regarding one interest where he/she can join where he/she can learn and gain knowledge.
