Remarks

My cousin recommended it for me as he himself is alumni of this university and is now a passed out student . Overall it is a good university with lots of opportunities and many campus placements with good packages.

Course Curriculum Overview

overall everything is fine but online mode is different from the experience we get from offline classroom so cannot say a lot, otherwise the faculty and curriculum is great and the use of blackboard platform has made it easier to study .

Class Size: 38Course Fees: INR 640000 per year

Internships Opportunities

3.5

i have not opted for any internship yet

Placement Experience

From the ending of the third year students start attending placement drives in the campus and many companies come to our campus like 25 students from our university got placed in microsoft this year which is amazing.

Fee Structure And Facilities

fee structure is not too expensive and if there is need then one can apply for loan or give scholarship exams to have fees reduced. the campus jobs are a lot as there have been many placements and I am still a second year student and there are many things I have yet to experience so cannot say a lot.

Campus Life

2.5

Till now I have not yet joined the campus because of COVID-19 so cannot comment on anything related to campus life and infrastructure. So when I will get the chance then I will surely comment or maybe update my review .

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I have opted for the hostel facilities and even paid for the fees but could not join the hostel because campus re-opening was postponed because of COVID-19 and I have yet to join the campus and hostel and experience everything by myself

Admission

I got admitted based on my cbse board exams for class 12th and if there is any need then one can also give CUCAT exam to get admission as well as scholarship. the other criteria for joining is also the scores in JEE mains.

My Experince at Chandigarh University: Campus Life, Learning and Growth

Likes

The campus is beautiful, spacious, and offers good infrastructure with modern facilities.
The university provides good exposure to technical courses, eventrs , clubs, and extracurricular activities.
The campus has good labs, a library, and facilities that support students academic development.

Dislikes

The fees are high and losing a scholarship due to cgpa requirements can create a significant financial burden.
More personalized mentorship and regular career guidance sessions would help student prepare for their future carees.
more internship opportunities would further improve students professional growth.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the CSE curriculum covers relevant subjects and provides a good foundation programming and computer science. It prepares students for futher studies and careers, through more industry-based projects and practical learning would be bemigficial. Exams include MSTs and ESTs, with a manageable difficulty level through regi;ar preparation.

University life

Likes

The infrastructure and faculty is very good. The university campus is very big containing different departments with the well qualified teachers. The teaching methods are very good and we can approach easily to the management for our queries.
The discipline is very well in the university campus. The proper follow up of rules and regulations is there in the campus. The rules regarding ragging are very strict and nobody will be forgive if caught in such offences.
The placement rate of the university is quite well in each and every department whether it is biosciences or engineering or any other department. The university ensures that each and every deserving student should get placement.

Dislikes

The first thing I dislike about university is the students are not allowed to use lifts because for some departments the classes takes place on top floors and it is very difficult for students to climb those floors multiple times.
The other thing I dislike is the problem of traffic outside the main campus gate in morning mad evening time. It take lot of time to get out of that traffic and it ultimately makes students late for their classes.
The last thing I dislike is there is no free transportation services for students inside campus because the size of university is very big and to go from one point to other the students have to walk a lot.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course offers theoretical as well as practical knowledge It prepare me very well for outside life and obstacles that I will face in outside world I think individual students must be asked for learning There is no such difficulty level
