I wrote TNEA HSC exam and scored 70% overall and scored 148 out of 200 cut-off for engineering. I selected this college because it is located in industrial city(hosur) so it is chance to be easily enter into the reputed company.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, college provide internship they send some of us to Exide Battery company, Easun reyrolle ltd. etc. But there must be no stipend i think so.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, there will be a scheme called first graduate Scheme in government, thus college itself initiate for the scheme those students are eligible. most of my friend are benefited through the scheme.
Hostel Facilities
Though i am a day scholar i didn't know much about the hostel. Even i can share some details on behalf of my friends who have experienced in hostel four years there. Initially it was not good in first year. but after rising some complaints then it was quite good in food. There must be 3 wardens always available to help the students.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, last year i attend the alumni meet of 2011 and 12 batch students. Its helped to recollect our memories and share the knowledge on industries where we are now. It was more helpful to our future carrier.
Exam Structure
There must be 50 marks for internal and 50 for external(100/2) Internal exams. 30- Class Assessment Test (CAT), 10- Assignments, 10- Innovation works and attendance , External Exams.
Admission
TNEA counselling is a single window counselling conducted by the Anna University on behalf of the Government of Tamilnadu to the benefit of the engineering aspirants to get seats in the engineering colleges in Tamilnadu on merit. The seats will be allotted based on the cutoff marks and the social equality quota prescribed by the Government of Tamilnadu.
