Ahmedabad Institute of Technology, BE, Mechanical Engineering

Reviewed on Nov 12, 2021(Enrolled 2014)

Remarks

L. D engineering college or tops college of govt I should try to get admission because there are good companies are coming for placement & their not any additional fees are required as compared to a private college. But my jee main & 12th marks are not sufficient to get admission in those colleges. There are totally online process to submitting an online form for admission process & choice feeling your favorite college after that GTU declare a merit list according to that you get a college according to your merit. After then you go to college & fill and submit a form with the necessary documents to confirm your admission & deposit fees according to rules.

Course Curriculum Overview

Because of my personal interests in m/c & practical work so I chose a mechanical field. Here combo of some good faculty & some avg faculty but they teach well according to their level. All faculty are M.Tech holder & their teaching method is also student-friendly. Their 20 to 30 faculty over 220 students in the mechanical department. Every 2 or 3 months they take a mid-term exam. & it is tough as compared to the GTU exam.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 62000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

62000/year in 2014 before that 52000/ year in 2013 There is some scholarship for SC/ST & OBC cast students. They get a like 5k to 10k per semester according to their caste certificate. There are Compalsarry paid fees on time otherwise they will fine you extra charges.

Campus Life

They are yearly organizing a tech-fest event in continue 2014 to 2018. There are many events where students show their skills & capabilities. & they celebrate sports week, Tour of the industrial visit was lots of things to learn & gain knowledge.

The parul university review

Likes

The campus view is awesome we all will see new things everytime and it feels fresh at the morning.
The personal development of particular students have been in focus of every faculty which is awesome.
The behaviour towards students of every professor is the best all are understanding and calm towards students.

Dislikes

There is a system of gate pass means whenever u need to go out of main gate with the permission we are not allowed to go.
In hostel the washrooms are not so clean for the students with common washroom hostel
The mess food are boring sometimes and the food of the food seems to be same everytime

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I have a great interest in coding and this field is based on coding so i choosed the computer field. -The curriculum of the college are based on the things which will help us in future for real world application. -The way they i based on pdf means they make a full note of a subject in pdf and explain that and which makes clear to us so I don't think they should change. -There is a enough time to study for exams it depends on us how me manage it and the difficulty level is medium it is based on what we have understood till now in studies we have studied.

My Life at Parul University as a computer science student

Likes

The collage infrastructure is really good and vibrant, it is well developed.
Campus life is really good, there are food courts, playground, libraries avaliable.
The whole campus has wifi avaliable, they've got atm too.

Dislikes

there are quite a few restrictions like no roaming allowed after 9:30pm.
mess food is not so good, its managable but sometimes it feels miserable
for every small thing to be done, lots of paperwork is required whether you need to go outside the campus or needs a NOC

Placement Experience:

in my unversity, proper placements usually start from 7th sem, however after 4th sem, the collage provides the opputunity to go for impact traning if youve got more than 60% in your 10th, 12th and throughtout the semesters from that traning top permorning student get a chance to sit for product-based companies. as of now (jan 2026), the highest placement recorded is 60lpa at microsoft, the average is aroudn 3.5 lps to 6 lpa, most of the recruiting companies are service based such as capgemini, infosys, tcs etc. around 200-250 students gets palce after heavy filtering, i plan to go for higher studies,
