Yah. I applied to different colleges in Chennai and Banglore through entrance exams.. i. e. VEL TECH, SRM, VIT, AND KLUlike so many exams... but the reason why i didn't join in that clz was there fee is more and then i think to go North India for my study then I'm searching for the colleges in North India. On the first search, i like Chandigarh University more because it is the no 1 university in North India which is providing placements more every year. This is the reason mainly to select Chandigarh University. The infrastructure inside the university is top good and hostels are very neat and clean. The faculty is also too good they have good skills...
Course Curriculum Overview
I Choose this course because CSE students have a Bright future ahead... To become a software engineer is my dream.. Faculty is too good they have good skills and expertise in the subject they will give us many problems and examples on the particular topic. In every semester we have two mid-term exams and one final exam. midterm exam marks is calculated in final internal exams if you work hard it is easy to clear all subjects.
Internships Opportunities
University will give us a training period in the middle of 5th semester to 8th semester it's our wish we want to learn the subject any institute or in the college itself, they provide us training. From the 5th semester, we have a project subject every semester. So at the end of study, we are able to make 4 projects on if we have to patent the project then we have an option to patent our project and ideas.
Placement Experience
There are number of companies recruiting students in university placement arojnd 600 MNC companies visiting the college for placements. The highest package around 30lpa. so no need to worry about placement. You have better placement in tge university its self
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure was per semester(6months)it was around 70k-80k and for the hostel fee, it is around 80k-85k per year.If you have any JEE main rank the University will provide scholarships to those who have JEE main rank and XII marks above 90% they will give you scholarships but to maintain scholarship 4 years we have to maintain CGPA 7.5 above. If you maintain above 7.5 then your scholarship continues otherwise it will be canceled in the second year if you don't main 7.5 CGPA
Campus Life
In university, the management always gives us a facility to play. They have multiple playgrounds in the university. management will give the same priority to the gaming and cultural activities with studies. Every month we are going to have Cultural events and mainly Fest is around 4 to 5 days. So, there is equal importance in cultural activities and sports in the university
Hostel Facilities
In the hostel we have Different sharing rooms 5,4, 3,2,1 we have an option to select which room we want. Hostels are very clean and neat. Food is also too good we have Morning breakfast afternoon lunch evening snacks and night dinner. The hostel fee is around 80k per yearly.
