Holistic Milestone

As i have experienced 4 years in Anand Engineering College and in this 4 year i have seen my golden era and most fruitful lessons in every aspect.It is college management and administration which play crucila role to mould student in good aspect.

UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination),conducts this exam annually basis to upcoming aspirants who want to join any engineering and other courses like MBA,BBA,Architecture,Pharma etc.Apart from this competition regarding to this examination was at peak during 2007 to 2010.

As i was in Mechanical department so there was lot of resources to assese.The facilitated laboratory of each subject were NAAG (National Assessment And Accreditation council) certified.Mainly all lab assisstant were having good hold on practicals as mentioned in syllabus.Apart from that there was appropriate time allotment for every practical sessions.

Yes, as session of placement and intership duration arrives there used to be many firms and companies which were called by Training and Placement department.Companies mainly project there required criteria and according to that they recruit or provide stipend.Companies like Tech Mahindra,TCS,HCL,L&T Infotech,Atul Generator,Siemens as our college was subsidiary of SGI Sharda Group Of Institutions so most of the companies get diverted to our collge.

As there was market breakdown during 2008 so most of the companies were unable to offer handsome package to student as i was in first year in 2009 so there were many seniors who were not placed.But as years passed many new companies and firms from NCR SEZ zone opted to recruit from AEC and most of the student were recruited from 2011 to 2015.They offer minimum package of 2.1lac to 2.4lac per annum most likely.

As there were large number of student from all parts of India mainly North East region.So college use to conduct cultural,sports meet,inter collge sports meet,technical fest.In cultural fest most of the college in that region use to participate under 'MANTHAN' so there was huge participation and appraisals.In sports events college of different region used to participate in various categories.

As i took admission in first year (2009)so there was huge sum of money projected like Admission fees,enrollment fees,examination fees,library fees,uniform fees,conveyance fees,security deposits,etc it was around One Lakh overall.So there were various mandatory provisions to opt like Conveyance by Bus or Hostel.Library fee was Mandatory along with uniform fees.And the most stiff part was norms of fine in various sects like if late registration then fine,late fees deposit then fine,late submission of exam form then fine and other miscellaneous fines with logical quest.

There were various scholarship programme for OBCs SCs STs students.College administration helped every student to open there bank account with there partnered banking partner.So all the formalities and documentation was quite easier for student. This was done so as to have separate account for scholarship benefiting student.To get shielded with scholarship student have to submit income certificate of there parents of below 2.5 lakhs for Non creamy layers OBCs or General Category.For SC/ST there was provision of fees refund in which all of there tution fees was refunded in there opened account.

Gender ratio was good if we exclude Mechanical and Civil Branch. Diversity was remarkable as there were students from different parts of the state and region. At every specific day and eve there use to party. Workshop was conducted from administration in which experts from specific use to be invited from various other institutes and organisation. Cultural, Technical, Sports meets Fest were organised at regular duration. Keeping in mind each and every aspect of the composition of student there were various provision to fulfill there needs.Some times there was external influence from which students get radicalized or diverted from main stream like alcoholism,drug,local government election parties etc so college administration use to have effective collaborations with local police to handle this problem.

Hostel infrastructure was good as they provide hygienic food and clean surrounding. All kind of specific rooms were offered like Single seater, double seater, three seaters.So as per student demand hostel administration provide specific room.The hostel facilities for juniors and seniors were separate to avoid Ragging.Girls Hostel was quite far from both boys hostels and it was close to faculties hostel. Fooding system was quite efficient as there was menu designed by mesh cordinators who use to be selected student among themselves to check quality and availibility of food for ever student and to handle any grievance, If any one wanted to get access to hostel food then there was minimum charge of 30Rupees.

As there was large number of student every year passing out and admitting in so there was full fledged cycle evolving around and upcoming juniors wanted some special teaching from seniors and passing out seniors wanted some careers guiding tips from pass out or alumni students.At every level there was support of senior whether it may be study,sports, etc.If any junior get support from senior then we get moral boosting like as we got a free pass to all access.

Mostly the lectures were well placed according to lab time.As most of the important subject lecture were prior to lunch and after wards there would be practicals so it was easier for us to give full time to practical as after this threre was no lecture.But as there was more practical for Mechanical so sometimes whole day was alloted for practical session.

After I got rank card from UPSEE based on this counselling was conducted at different phases so that student could choose there desired college and branch based on various feedback. After this process i was alloted Electronics and Instrumentation(EI) Branch in first counselling and alloted college was Anand Engineering College subsidiary of Sharda Group Of Institutions(SGI) from my various filled choices.But i was little unaware of this (EI) ,so i consulted my friends and they also reacted like what is this???? Then i was in blunder and wanted to get out of this.So at last re-counselling date was announced and in that i was alloted Mechanical branch in Anand engineering College.The reportong date was mentioned in allotment letter and should be reporting at AEC.on specified date i reached AEC with concerned documents and fees and i was surprised to see college infrastructure and number of student.The admission department verified my full document and accommodated us with good hospitality.I was from 2009-2013 sessions.

Being in core branch most of the faculties were Post Graduate like M.Tech ,P.HD,Reader,etc so there was diverse qualification of faculties and every one was master in there specific branch but there was no doubt about there multi tasking ability to hold more than 2 subject if any need arises.They judge student according to there attendance,mentally presence in classroom,assignments,marks obtained in mid terms apart from this all faculty use to set there own parameter to teach and train student which was quite interesting.
