Remarks

We have to take the CAT exam to get admitted into IIM Amritsar. This year cut off was above 85 percentile. After clearing The cut off, students will be taken interview by the faculties of IIM Amritsar. After getting selected into the Institute, The admission process was very smooth. Our management allocated specific clubs to interact and solve any kind of queries that juniors had.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is being constantly being updated based on the industrial environment. Our curriculum is completely practical and case based and all our faculties are PHD holders of older IIMs and they are highly qualified.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 132000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Several big brands like Cipla, Dalmia Group, ICICI Lombard visited our campus for summer placements and offered roles such as BI Consultant, Operations intern, Digital Transformation intern etc. There were many live project opportunities as well.

Placement Experience

Many big brands like Accenture, Browser Stack, KPMG, Deloitte, Ernst and Young visit our campus. The highest package was above 18 lakhs and the average package was above 12 lakhs. The total placement was 100 percent.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is as of now 13.2 lakhs for the academic fees and hostel accommodation In addition students are required to pay 25,000 per term for the mess fees. Hostel and mess fees are compulsive. Scholarships will be given merit based as well as economic based.

Campus Life

Life at the campus is pretty good. Highly satisfied with our hostel although we have to travel by a bus for around 14 km to our transit campus. Amenities at classroom are pretty average since it's a transit campus but all classrooms are air conditioned.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are very good. They will provide good rooms for two people. We have lots of sports facilities like badminton, football, cricket, volleyball, etc., but mess food is pretty average when compared to their cost.

Hostel Fee: INR 75000 per year

Interview Experience

4.5

We didn't undergo GD for the admission process this year but there was an interview after the CAT exam. Faculties of IIM Amritsar will be taking the interview and they will ask questions whatever we have mentioned in CV.

Likes

Education Quality was good along with Teachinng
Infrastructure is decent according to punjab location
Management is helpful and good, you can reach them for help

Dislikes

Attendence i perdonally didn't like, but it is mandatory
little bit parking issue inside the campus
overall college is good, you can go for it but not for placements

Placement Experience:

Rest everything is good with college, only i have issue with placement, since there are very poor or only core sales job in punjab, college is able to provide that only. You have to work your ass off if you want to get good placement, provided their education quality is good

100% placement at USB CU!

Remarks:

I completed my BBA from CU and really liked this university because of it's amazing infrastructure and the kind of high level education and practical skills they were providing. It was already decided that I wanted to pursue an MBA program in the long run. I took CAT and was able to score as per CU criteria and I was an alumni of this college only so I was given preference, although the admission was done on merit basis. I also had to pay INR 1000 as the application fee while applying through the official website of the university.

My MBA Review

Remarks:

I did my masters from Punjab Institute of Management and Technology and the level of education I got from the college was impeccable. It made me capable enough to successfully start and run and expand my business. I would definitely recommend my college for the sole reason of its precious academics and the supportive faculty. Though the campus life and extracurricular activities are also refreshing and memorable.

My Journey with PCTE

Remarks:

My MBA program was well elaborated and I really enjoyed every part of it. Especially the college gave me so many nice memories to remember from the freshers to fest and farewell. I consider myself to be lucky enough to get so many good friends, juniors and seniors. Overall, this college was actually a good platform to pursue a management course

Best college for business studies

Remarks:

I think that our college is good an average. The fees are a bit expensive but feasible and they refund me the concession money for the semester and the hostel fees. I had fun with my friends and classmates too.

Master of Administration

Admission:

The admission process was very smooth. I contacted the college regarding the admission process and informed them that I graduated with a score of 7.8% and then I applied for the counseling and then my application was shortlisted. I chose an MBA course. I did not take any entrance exams.
