Remarks
Tripura University is good for UG programmes. Eligibility criteria for BBA require 10th class and 12th class completion and Selection is based on the final marks in class XII. The candidate should secure a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is good in providing a good foundation in becoming a Manager. HRM, Finance, and Marketing are the 3 specialization subjects in the third year. In the 5th and 6th semesters, there is Project Report submission also.
Placement Experience
There is an active Placement Cell in the college. It provides winter/summer job-oriented training programs for the students needed for campus recruitment. UG placements in BBA are not much.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The first semester fees is INR 30150. From 2nd semester to 6th semester the fees are INR 29150. The total fees comes around INR 175900
Fees and Financial Aid
Merit-cum-means Scholarship, Post Matric Scholarship to Lower Income Group, SC, ST, Girl Student, OBC, Beedi Workers Scholarship, Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship for Students with Disabilities, Nihar Kana and Dr. Surendranath Scholarship, ONGC Scholarship, Central Government Teaching Employees' Children's Educational Scholarship, North East Council Scholarship, etc are few of the many scholarships offered in University.
Campus Life
The campus life is vibrant. Along with Academic & curricular sessions, there are a plethora of socio-cultural activities like film screening, musical performances, art festivals, debates, intra-University fetes, sports tournaments, walkathons etc. The main infrastructure features is that state of the art classrooms, laboratories, 24-hours internet connectivity, computer center, library, free Wi-Fi facility across the Campus, playgrounds, open theatre, health center, bank, Cafeteria, post office, food court, hostels, guest house etc. The library has wide range of collections which includes print books, print Journals, CD/DVDs, Thesis/Dissertation, reports, newspapers, e-journals and e-books.
Hostel Facilities
There are two hostels for women and gents. In addition, there are separate hostels for research scholars. Common Rooms, reading rooms, TV, WIFI facilities. etc. are also available. Mess is also good with variety foods.
Exam Structure
The main exams are conducted semester-wise, called as “Semester End Examination” . Internal Assessment Marks shall be awarded on the basis of Students Behavior, Class Attendance, Class Test Performance (Written/Viva/ Assignments) from time to time. The total course marks with Internals and Externals is 2400.
Admission
Admission Criteria is that the Candidates should have passed Class XII with at least 45% marks in aggregate. There is a 5% relaxation of marks. In the case of ST/SC/OBC category students. In addition, there will be an admission test conducted by the selection committee also.
Faculty
The teaching faculties are dynamic, caring, and friendly. The majority of them are highly qualified professors, Ph.D. holders, NET, MPhil, etc.
