I took CAT entrance exam, 72.5%, I scored well and great experience of college education. Excellent faculty knowledge and live examples, experience.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course structure is good, live and practical examples, experience would help for the operation and work environment. College has a great life time opportunity to learn more and experience. Good opportunity for the new and poor family and first generation degree holders.

Yes, internship is given by college only general stipend.

Good times by me

Likes

Things I like teaching methods , and separate library for all departments no other extra fees for academic
Hostel was neat , managed good , good atmosphere

Dislikes

I didn't like the hostel timing they want to increase time
Sports day was not there I our BA college we celebrate the sports day

They arrange properly for exam , exams are easy to all because of good teaching and properly seen by staff. To improve the student strength and staff also , benches to improve new methods Toilet to improve big Timing for exam was not suitable to all because not able to manage the times . And 2 staff to maintenance the room in exam hall to watch all students

The curriculum is relevant to the industry of the faculty and the use the latest development the causes design with the skills and knowledge required to the field the teaching methods or innovative engaging the mix of lectures discussions case studies hands of projects so the faculty also increases in active participation and critical thinking.

Likes

I enjoy breakfast, Lunch, Evening Tea and dinner, and all the kitchen facilities.
I admire all of the faculties for their warmth, caring and friendliness
I like the campus infrastructure such as the library, classrooms and media room.

Dislikes

I don't like salty water, but its bearable.

In terms of the curriculum, I don't have any negative comments because it is designed by highly educated proffessors. Furthermore, it is an international level curriculum. I appreciated the teaching methods, Proffessors use powerpoint presentation as neccessary.

Remarks:

The college has good in the language before some few years back. And still now it’s somhow good in relevance in the studies but sometimes much more pressure and extra works that was not much necessary in the departmental curriculum. One bad things is the college didn’t listen to the students voice and opinions and students were considered as money. Much more pressure and once president said is finalised and no options. There is many stories within the students that cannot reveals but most of all they wait for the graduation.

I have written the srmjee exam. So I got a rank of 6k. So my admission process was on the first day. Actually, on the first day, people having below 10k ranks got seats. The admission process is simple. Before going to admit they will ask us to bring mark sheets of srm jee, inter board exams. And tc and all and then we should wait still until our turn comes then have to submit our files. Then we will be sent to a room where we have to select our branch after that . have to submit a dd of two lakh fifty thousand rupees along with a ten thousand dd as admission fees. So after submitting that dd our seat will be reserved and we got admission for College. And for this admission process, we can go to any srm branch. it's not mandatory that if we want admission to a certain branch. Then we have to go to that branch admission. For people who gets an srm jee rank below a hundred, they will be given a hundred percent scholarship. And above 10 k rank people for cse 1 lakh extra fees....Read More

Detailed review of SRM

I had given many competitive exams and got rank in SRMJEE, so got an email to be present on 3rd May 2019 for counselling purpose, their many parents came with their ward, people announcing rank-wise so children can go fill the forms regarding 1st-year fee and admission. In this process, I get to choose the stream I wanted (Computer Science Engineering specialisation in Software Engineering). After one month on 21st June, I had to be there for hostel and enrollment purpose. And my classes started on the 1st of July. College is somehow good, you will get a nice environment for self-study, a library which is open till 2 am in the night you can study and do projects theirs with campus wifi. KTR campus is the largest of all SRM campuses in India, hygienic and eco-friendly environment, there are a large playground and a 400m running track for fitness indoor tennis court.
