The admission process is based upon jee-mains as well as boards marks because the CSE branch requires good and decent marks. So overall eligibility is simple and good. No reservation system is present only eligible get seats in the college. For the admissions in Cu, we will have to give their Entrance exam. I found the application form online mode. No reservation benefits are provided because they see every candidate through equal eyes and judge them on basis of their marks in +2 and jee-mains. You also get the scholarship on the basis of class 12rth exam. If we score above 90 we get a 50 percent scholarship. During a pandemic, it can be taken online on amcat. The syllabus of the paper is based upon class 12th syllabus and also English and gk. We can also give the [papper on their office online.

I have chosen the course of b.tech in Computer-science. I have chosen this course because I have an interest in coding and also there are lots of opportunities in the CSE branch in Cu. There are about 4000 students in CSE branch and there are faculties ratios are large. The qualifications of nthe teachers are M.tech, B.tech or either MBA, pursuing their P.hd. Qualifications are good and HODs are highly experiensed and highly educated with alots of teaching experience. There are 2 MSTs held in 6 months of each semester. The MST's are held of 40 marks and finals are held of 80 marks. The practicals and there are practical labs and papers. The questions are in MST's and finals are of higher levels means a little bit difficult. But the teachers explain and are very helpful in nature so paper does not cause us difficulty or anxiety.

The various internships are provided in 3 rd year of college but with various companies, in 2 nd year, you will get a good internship with a nice stipend of 20000 because the university is NAAC A+ so 20000 is sure to amount you get in internships. Most of the time we have to find internships ourselves by our skills. University provides us summer as well as winter training on different industry subjects. There are many programs by the university where we can get internships. We can get internships in the back overflow technical society regarding skills we have. But this is internship is unpaid. We only get certificates.

The placements are 100% and it depends upon person to person their needs and the hard work they put in their studies for placements. Renowned companies like- Amazon, Facebook are all big MNC's comes. The Chandigarh university placement cells are also good. Students can sit in the placements from the sixth semester in the third year. the companies like google Microsoft amazon come for placement. Most of the students are recruited by the mass recruiters like Wipro, Infosys, cognizant at a median package the average package is about 4-5 lakhs. The placements are open to all. A good number of students is placed. Good packages of the students which are displayed are the students by their off-campus placement. We have to learn ourselves for the placement.

The fees structure is 80000 as tuition fees and 90000 as hostel fees. The scholarships are provided by the university depending upon the marks you scored in amcat paper organized by Cu itself and sometimes by board marks also considered. If we compare it to the other private colleges then their fees structure is good. Many scholarships are provided to the students at both the academic and hostel levels. The loan facility is also present and about 3 crores scholarship is provided by the university each year. Now they introduced the defense scholarship also. If you bring the medals for university then they give you hostel free. Financials gave and on-campus jobs are provided. offline campus jobs are taken by some students. The placement cell is good and they support us financially and emotionally also.

Life at the campus is good and very nice. With studies, you can enjoy yourself with your friends and can do various activities like playing cricket, football, singing, and dance activities are also promoted. The sports club is also built for students. The library is very big and fully organized. There is cufestevery year. There are regional performances in that. there are 3 libraries. the biggest library is a central library where you can find any book easily and also there is an online library. If some student has no laptop he/she can work on the computer available in their library. There are a projector and whiteboard in every classroom. The rooms are airy and well ventilated. There is hackoverflow society which is run by students and funded by the university authorities. Hts and Google have code societies that also help students in growing their skills. Many websites are run like:_Cu.international.com , Cuims. Many communities are run by various Mnc's metaclub, google has code, alexa.

The hostel fee is 90000 per year and the same for all branches. The mess food is really nice and wardens are also very friendly nature cannot feel you like you left your home. They are fully helpful to you and can do the tackling of various problems and solve and give the solution to you. The room are airy and well ventilated there ae different hostel like nek chand , zakir Gobind . in Gobind there are attached bathrooms. There are both veg and nonveg messes. The range of food ranges from good to bad. We have to register online from the cuims site. There are pgs also available near the university in Kharar. In the mess unlimited food is available and of various variety and full hygiene. Non-veg is also available but vegetarian and non-veg kitchens are fully separate so this is a good step taken by mess authority.
