Remarks

To be part of VIT Vellore you need to qualify CAT exam. The admission is done based on your CAT/MAT/XAT score. The candidate must secure a minimum of 55% marks in a bachelor's degree followed by GD and PI round. The college administration is friendly and cooperative.

The curriculum is well structured and is like all the B-schools in India. The college follows the best practices to inculcate the knowledge among the students.

Internships Opportunities

Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, HCL visit the campus during the internship program. The college placement committee helps you a lot to identify the best companies for internships according to your stream.

Placement Experience

The college provides 100% placements. Companies like Merill Lynch, Nissan, Bank Of America, Mondelez, Payoda are the main attraction point of the placement as these are the companies that hire most of the students with great packages. Around 70 companies visited our campus during the placement drive. The highest package for our batch was 15.95 LPA and the lowest was 7.65 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The scholarship is alloted according to your merit score. I was not lucky enough to get a scholarship but I got a great package and it was worth the money. The college also provides scholarships to SC/ST/Pd students.

Campus Life

The annual fest named Rivera and Gravitas is very popular among the students. All types of books and journals are available in the library. The classrooms are equipped with AC, projector screens, and lecture recording equipment. There are also many sports activities like Badminton, Cricket, Basketball and many more.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Hostel fee is Rs 93,500/- from which Rs 15000/- is refundable after completion of your course. The facilities in the hostel are great the common room is equipped with LCD TV, Carrom, Chess, Table Tennis. The 24 hrs internet facility is also available.

The faculties of VIT are highly qualified. Most of the faculties have taught in foreign universities and the experience of faculties is very valuable for many students. They are aware of the latest trends in the education industry and keep students up to date.

Transforming Learning Beyond the Classroom

Likes

Supportive faculty, practical learning through case studies, workshops, and industry interactions helped improved both technical and management skills.a
Regular seminars, guest lectures, internships, and management events provided good exposure.
Good campus environment with helpful faculties, library, Sports room with PS5 and billiards table.

Dislikes

The campus infrastructure is good, but adding more recreational spaces and student facilities would enhance the overall experience.
More cultural and technical events would make campus life more engaging
Some administration process could be completed faster during busy periods.

Placement Experience:

Placements are supportive through training , internships , and campus drives. Companies from various sectors visit the campus. I plan to build a career in Business / Data analytics after graducation..

Likes

Faculties ( Mostly all of them will have a business experience) ( they will not be the one's who studied to became a professor, they gained experience in realtime).
Perfect infrastructure ( Room, Dinning hall, seminar halls, Classrooms)
Food (100%) The menu includes Non veg, Soup, Juice , Snacks, Ice-cream. It gives a perfect balance diet.

Dislikes

Mostly all placement will be on sales and marketing.

Placement Experience:

Placements will be provided to everybody. But the problem is HR department students will not get a chance to get into their own field. Mostly all the placements will be sales and marketing. Operation department have a good scope of getting into their field with a good package in well-known companies.

SRM institute appears to be generally good. According to best performance and more than 90% of previous year students got placed on campus . The college has a 95% placement rate. 9 out of 10 students are placed in their dream . Placement companies are Cognizant NTT DATA,ICIC Bank, ZOHO

With the objectives of imparting high quality management education and training, SCAD COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY has established Department of Management Studies.To get admission in MBA at SCAD the student must be a graduate with 50 % marks. Then the student will have to give the entrance exam and on the basis of merit, they will be selected.

I appeared for the MAT exam after my BBA course completed I scored good marks in MAT and thus I applied for VIT, SRM and Amrita University. At that time we had to have a written exam and GDPI round. THE KEY TO ACCOMPLISHING ANYTHING
