Great Lakes Chennai Admission Dates 2027

GLIM Chennai’s PGPM 2027-28 applications are open. Candidates using CAT 2026 (exam November 29, 2026) and XAT 2027 (exam January 3, 2027) scores may apply for PGPM. PGDM 2027-29 applications are expected to open in December 2026 once CAT 2026 scores are announced.

Great Lakes Chennai Courses and Fees

GLIM Chennai’s programme portfolio covers six management and certificate offerings from full-time residential to part-time executive and short-duration certificates. The flagship PGPM at INR 23.50 Lakhs includes accommodation, making it a all-in cost for the one-year programme. The PGDM at INR 22.50 Lakhs is spread over two years at roughly INR 11.25 Lakhs per year.

NRI and international students pay INR 36.47 Lakhs for the PGPM. The PGPM accommodation (single AC room with all vegetarian meals) is bundled inside the total and carries no separate invoice. Non-vegetarian meal options are available at an additional charge at the mess counter.

GLIM Chennai does not declare a minimum cutoff for any entrance exam. The institute follows a holistic evaluation that combines test score, academic record, work experience, essays, and personal interview performance. No management quota exists for any programme.

PGPM Admission

The PGPM targets working professionals with a minimum of 2 full years of post-graduation, full-time work experience by the time of programme commencement (April 30, 2027 for the 2027-28 batch). Freshers are not eligible for PGPM.

• Eligibility: Graduation with minimum 50% in Class 10, Class 12, and graduation. Minimum 2 years full-time post-graduation work experience.
• Exam accepted: CAT, XAT, GMAT (from January 2024 onwards), or NMAT.
• Selection: Holistic review of test score, work profile, essays, and personal interview. No declared minimum cutoff. GMAT applicants with strong corporate profiles are actively considered alongside CAT and XAT scorers.

PGDM Admission

The PGDM targets freshers and candidates with strictly less than 36 months of work experience as of May 30, 2026 (for the 2026-28 batch). The application cycle for the 2027-29 batch is expected to open in December 2026 after CAT 2026 results.

• Eligibility: Graduation with minimum 50% in Class 10, Class 12, and graduation. Freshers and candidates with under 36 months of work experience eligible.
• Exam accepted: CAT, XAT, GMAT, NMAT, or CMAT.
• Application fee: INR 2,200 per programme application.

Executive PGPM Admission

The Executive PGPM is designed for senior professionals and prefers GMAT or GRE scores as primary credentials. The programme runs approximately 15 months in a hybrid format combining on-campus modular sessions and structured online coursework. Candidates should apply directly through the GLIM Chennai admissions office for the current cycle.
