Entrance Preview

I have appeared in GUJCET and scored 42 marks. I selected this college because of its infrastructure and placememt opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is decided by GTU and we have to follow it. Time tables and labouratory hours were decided by the college and even the mid term examination time table is decided by the college. Electives are not offered in any of the courses in the college.

Internships Opportunities

The companies that came for placement are infosis, Nirma chemical, google, reliance, L&T and other small scale industrial firms. Local companies like Jyoti CNC, Mahindra gear, amul and other industries has coleberated with the college for industrial trainings and visits.

Placement Experience

Around 70% of the students get recruited during the acedemic year and the maximum package that was offered is Rs. 35000 Per month by reliance. Other than that, Nirma chemicals has offered Rs. 20000 per month with Rs. 5000 increment for next 3 consecutive years.

College Events

4.5

Technoplanet- technical event celebrated every year. RKU Day- the when the group of colleges got the approval to become university. Garbage Technical project exhibitions.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college provides scholarship to poor people under some criteria. I am not aware of the scholarships as I have not availed any of it.

Campus Life

4.5

Number of boys and girls are allover same and both are treated equally. College is following strict sexual herrasment policy and there is no castism. No raging, no other harrasments. There is no college dress but all the students are advised to wear decent cloths. Financial condition of the college is much better than others and they are even expanding their campus.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors were helpful and they have always guided us whenever we require their help. They helped us in over final year projects and even helped to decide the project title. They never treated us as we are juniors of them and never treated us incorrectly.

Exam Structure

Exam scedules are decided by GTU and now by the college itself and it is always planned where u get enough time to study and can take rest also. Labs are having all the required equipments.

Faculty

The faculty of the college is most helping and having enough knowledge of their corresponding subject. If you need their help, you can even call them to resolve your query. Even they are having enough practical as well as industrial knowledge.

The parul university review

Likes

The campus view is awesome we all will see new things everytime and it feels fresh at the morning.
The personal development of particular students have been in focus of every faculty which is awesome.
The behaviour towards students of every professor is the best all are understanding and calm towards students.

Dislikes

There is a system of gate pass means whenever u need to go out of main gate with the permission we are not allowed to go.
In hostel the washrooms are not so clean for the students with common washroom hostel
The mess food are boring sometimes and the food of the food seems to be same everytime

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I have a great interest in coding and this field is based on coding so i choosed the computer field. -The curriculum of the college are based on the things which will help us in future for real world application. -The way they i based on pdf means they make a full note of a subject in pdf and explain that and which makes clear to us so I don't think they should change. -There is a enough time to study for exams it depends on us how me manage it and the difficulty level is medium it is based on what we have understood till now in studies we have studied.

Likes

The collage infrastructure is really good and vibrant, it is well developed.
Campus life is really good, there are food courts, playground, libraries avaliable.
The whole campus has wifi avaliable, they've got atm too.

Dislikes

there are quite a few restrictions like no roaming allowed after 9:30pm.
mess food is not so good, its managable but sometimes it feels miserable
for every small thing to be done, lots of paperwork is required whether you need to go outside the campus or needs a NOC

Placement Experience:

in my unversity, proper placements usually start from 7th sem, however after 4th sem, the collage provides the opputunity to go for impact traning if youve got more than 60% in your 10th, 12th and throughtout the semesters from that traning top permorning student get a chance to sit for product-based companies. as of now (jan 2026), the highest placement recorded is 60lpa at microsoft, the average is aroudn 3.5 lps to 6 lpa, most of the recruiting companies are service based such as capgemini, infosys, tcs etc. around 200-250 students gets palce after heavy filtering, i plan to go for higher studies,

My Experiences with Rk University

I got confirmed admission from Charotar university of science and technology in akash and rita school of physiotherapy. Well there were other private colleges as well like lj university of ahemdabad and sumandeep university of vadodara. I chose this college based on convenience in location and affordable fee structure. Also the reputed higher education at this college and recognition on global level enforced my choice. I didn't get rejected from any. However the high fee structure and other external costings like hostel and mess fee as well as general maintenance cost was much more for other colleges compared to this one. Ideally admissions are done through management quota and through acpc. More than 50% aggregate marks in 12th science is the only eligibility criteria for admission. Neet UG marks are considered for admission but is not mandatory for the same. My experience was pretty smooth and i was selected through acpc quota in the first round itself....Read More
