Remarks
Admission was completely based on academic ability and personality. I paid an Rs.1600 application fee and applied for this course through the IIT Delhi's website. My CAT score was decent enough to meet the requirements of the institute. My residence is in Delhi, and IIT Delhi was the closest and best institute nearby when I decided to attend. It also ranks highly in the NIRF rankings.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is divided into four semesters that offer an advanced level of knowledge in the management and business field. I chose the course because of my eager interest in the business and corporate world. The faculty at NIT Srinagar is kind and helpful. Also, their teaching methods are very fine too.
Internships Opportunities
Companies like Deloitte, HDFC, ICICI etc. visit the companies for final placements. For internships at IIM Jammu mainly start up companies visit. The roles offered are marketing, consulting etc. Projects and case studies are done on regular basis based on market data.
Placement Experience
Our college provides many placement opportunities for students. The students are well trained by experienced lectures for placement opportunities. They provide separate classes for us. Placements are very helpful to students in their careers.
Fees and Financial Aid
Till now I have completed two year course in this institute and there been no fees hike till now. According to the location of the college and the reputation of the college cost of study here is very economical. College management provides scholarship and financial assistance to a student who qualified in the criteria.
Campus Life
There are more than 1lakh books in Library and simply you can get the desired book. All sports are played with enthusiasm on Campus. There is a lot of Clubs for every single student according to interest like sports, cultural and writing club and many more. There is a lot of websites run for students.
Hostel Facilities
Meal quality is moderate. We usually eat outside. Hostel rooms and accommodation is good and particular. The registration process of hostel and affordability can be done online. Canal road location is very good for PG.
Interview Experience
My Diploma programme spanned two academic years and four semesters. In the first year, I was able to learn essential management concepts and practises through the curriculum, which was followed by advanced knowledge and practising abilities in the specialisation areas that we chose in the final year. The professors at IIT Delhi were all very nice. I could readily approach any faculty member at any moment. Both the professors and the curriculum were outstanding.
