To take admission in nist Berhampur your rank must be 100000 and if you want computer science than your rank should be Under 80000 .But I case your doesn't under this don't panic after 2 round of admission there will be one spot round in that round I have seen many students crl rank 200000 to get cse bank so don't worry about the admission. I have taken admission in electronics and communication branch as I this college the placement of only three branches are best that is cse ,it and ece . And ece is golden branch as you have option whether you will go for hardware or software. Faculty to student ratio is low as faculty are less compared to the required number. The institute have highly qualified faculty all are knowledgeable and have unquie way of explaining the things I a year there will be two-term exam one is in December and another one is june The difficulty level to pass the exam is medium and also depend on the student if a student is regularly attending classes then it will be more than enough for him or her to score a good grade.

The placement offered by the college is okay type mean you should not depend college for the placement purpose. Many companies 80+ visit the campus but provides average of 3.5 lac so it depends on students if students have skill he/ she can go beyond it. The highest package is 21 lac Almost 90%students are placed. After getting degree I will apply for companies job.

Total fees for the academic year including hostel accommodation is 136000 per year it may less or more for the upcoming batch. And 3600 per month is the mess charge . The institute in 2019 was provided economic hardship scholarship that is 7500 but I think now is is closed But there are some scholarships for the reserved category which vary every year.

You will really enjoy the annual fest of college that is called Sankalp in our college .you will get lots of opportunities to explore in the different field during that fest. And another fest is the cultural fest that is waves. You need not to bother about the book as institute have two library one is one for literature and one is central library where you will get all the books. Classroom conditions are very good . And comming to extracurricular and sports so the students are very lucky as institute focus on overall development students so if you have interest then definitely institute will provide you the platform. There are many clubs different clubs provide different skill like one club is only for dancing ,one club is for website development and total 12 clubs are there .

In the hostel, you have to choose the room whether you want ac or non-AC room .charge for AC room is 20000. And in first year there will be a maximum 4 people is a room after that you can change. Meal quality is average but for some days daytime food is not good and if you are a nonvegetarian then it will make easier for you to eat dinner. At the time of admission, you have to register accommodation for a hostel. I think 1km from the college you can take rent in the flat but there you have to arrange your own food.
