Remarks

Eligible of the course was 50% aggregate marks in PCM. I find the application form fee and dates on their website and applied for their scholarship program through Cucet. No admission process is good there is no need for improvement.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I choose this course because of my placement in the IT sector and I also have an interest in coding. Faculty: student ratio is quite good as there are many faculties. Some of the faculties are highly qualified and teach well on the other side some are new and they don't teach well they just try to complete the syllabus overall faculties are good except one or two. Universities conduct exams timely we have two mid-term exams. It's not difficult to pass the exam because it's from the syllabus mostly if you study for one or two days you can cover-up

Internships Opportunities

3

They provide internship but most offer low stipend or don't give any stipend you have to bear all the expenses. We make many projects . We have recently make a project in python. College have make codeshef compulsory and do many things but due to high crowd it's difficult to get internship.

Placement Experience

3.5

From 5th semester you can sit in campus placements. Tata, cognizant, Wipro, Deloitte are the companies that visited and made many offers average package is 4.5 for cse.in most students get placed because of the mass recruiter. But few of them got jobs in good companies. Microsoft comes for placements but they provide one or two offers only. Also, it's tough to crack it because of high competition. My plan is to get a good job after getting the degree

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are 1.8 lakh but you can opt for scholarships in many ways. you can scholarships on the board's result as well as from jee and from their Cucet scholarship exam. I got my 50% scholarship from the Cucet exam. you can afford the fee from the scholarship as there are many programs for the defense sector.

Campus Life

4

They conduct many fests. The annual fest is Cu fest. You can see many fests happening every month. there are many libraries in the university each block have one library you can find many books. The main library have more book than others but every library have different books. If you are interested in sports universities provide every opportunity for sports and even manage your attendance if you play any sports. They are quite supportive of sports.IEEE Cu is a club that helps with your ideas and patent ideas you can join it. They also help to prepare for placements. There are many social groups for every department. You can join it by scanning QR code

Hostel Facilities

4.5

They provide a bed, almirah, chair, and table. The room is quite good but not much spacious. Three-room have a common balcony where you can sit, chill or dry your clothes. Mess food is quite good and the menu is not constant for every week it keeps changing but it's quite good in taste. you can get breakfast, lunch, snacks and tea, and dinner. you can register for a hostel on claims their website from your id. there are many PG near hostel where you can live. and the nearest city Kharar has apartments too.

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
