Remarks
The admission process is easy, can be done online or offline. It doesn't require any entrance exam only requires to have more than 60% in 12th board. You can go to its official website and do the admission process. Or can contact any agent of its they will walk you throug the admission process.
Course Curriculum Overview
It is Pretty much the same as any other government college is odisha. I chose civil engineering due to my personal interest. Faculty are good here special in my department. Here young teacher are also highly qualified. And reviewing of teachers are also done every semester. Term exam are done in equal time and are generally not much hard if given attention to the subject.
Internships Opportunities
I have no idea about it. I am trying for internships from online sources like Internshala and others. I am still in 2nd year so Haven't done any projects yet. But I have seen my seniors do projects based on their course and interests.
Placement Experience
Placement is good in IT courses but in core department placement is not good. I will try for on-campus placement but will also try off-campus placement. The placement percentage is 65% till today this year according to my knowledge.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee is 1 lakh 10 thousand in the brochure but due to covid, we got somewhere 35 thousand discount to our batch. And to aur junior year they get 10 thousand hike in there fees. There is not much private scholarship, but can avail all the gov scholarship if you are qualified.
Campus Life
Social life is good here. But I have never witnessed all the cultural and social events due to corona. There is a big library 24x7 open. Sports events are being hosted and very much enjoyed here. Clubs are also there for students to join.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is very good here. 24x7 electricity, wifi, water. Mess food is good and healthy, but students don't like it due to repetition every week. For hostel registration, you just have to go to the administration office and ask them to allocate a room for you and they will give you a room according to availability.
