SVIT Vasad, BE, Mechanical Engineering

Reviewed on Jan 23, 2022(Enrolled 2021)

Remarks

I have got admission through ACPC By the merit system. 12th pass students and diploma students can apply for this course. First, you need to register on the ACPC website then you have to select colleges and courses all over Gujarat. After the first-round result in which college you got admission will show. Then you confirm your seat and go to college to pay fees and get information.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty members are good but one thing you should know not every faculty give an enjoyable study experience. They will teach well but in mechanical engineering, some subjects are very boring so professors can't do anything.

Class Size: 52Course Fees: INR 74000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I have no knowledge and no answer for this question that's why I can't give any answer. But this college gives all the internship offer in-class group. College does not have its own ant internship source.

Placement Experience

3.5

Good BUT NOT THE BEST. In the IT department, there is a lot of placement but in mechanical and electrical there are like 20 students who get jobs from placement. For computer and IT 50 to 60 students get jobs from placement interviews.

Fees and Financial Aid

One sem fees are 37000. And the total fee for one year is 74000. But when you pay the first time then you have to be paid 5000 extra as a fixed deposit you will get this amount when you complete the course. And in Gujarat, you will get an MYSY scholarship. In this scholarship, you will get 50% of your college fees.

Campus Life

3.5

SVIT belongs to GTU so there are too many unnecessary activities. In my opinion, the only thing that is important for an engineering college is placement and College value and in this aspect, this college full fill the need.

The parul university review

Likes

The campus view is awesome we all will see new things everytime and it feels fresh at the morning.
The personal development of particular students have been in focus of every faculty which is awesome.
The behaviour towards students of every professor is the best all are understanding and calm towards students.

Dislikes

There is a system of gate pass means whenever u need to go out of main gate with the permission we are not allowed to go.
In hostel the washrooms are not so clean for the students with common washroom hostel
The mess food are boring sometimes and the food of the food seems to be same everytime

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I have a great interest in coding and this field is based on coding so i choosed the computer field. -The curriculum of the college are based on the things which will help us in future for real world application. -The way they i based on pdf means they make a full note of a subject in pdf and explain that and which makes clear to us so I don't think they should change. -There is a enough time to study for exams it depends on us how me manage it and the difficulty level is medium it is based on what we have understood till now in studies we have studied.

My Life at Parul University as a computer science student

Likes

The collage infrastructure is really good and vibrant, it is well developed.
Campus life is really good, there are food courts, playground, libraries avaliable.
The whole campus has wifi avaliable, they've got atm too.

Dislikes

there are quite a few restrictions like no roaming allowed after 9:30pm.
mess food is not so good, its managable but sometimes it feels miserable
for every small thing to be done, lots of paperwork is required whether you need to go outside the campus or needs a NOC

Placement Experience:

in my unversity, proper placements usually start from 7th sem, however after 4th sem, the collage provides the opputunity to go for impact traning if youve got more than 60% in your 10th, 12th and throughtout the semesters from that traning top permorning student get a chance to sit for product-based companies. as of now (jan 2026), the highest placement recorded is 60lpa at microsoft, the average is aroudn 3.5 lps to 6 lpa, most of the recruiting companies are service based such as capgemini, infosys, tcs etc. around 200-250 students gets palce after heavy filtering, i plan to go for higher studies,
