Remarks

The entire admission process was very fluent and mostly transparent. It all starts with the filling of admission forms which can be easily done through CU's website at an affordable cost of Rs1100. On moving ahead you get to choose the test slot and time on the portal and the test has to be given on the due date ( hybrid ). The minimum marks to qualify for admission for my discipline was 30 and from 40 marks scholarship brackets began. Further to the entrance test scholarship (cucet ) more scholarships can be availed through board marks or Jee scores. The result of Cucet comes in 30 hours and further enrolling begins which includes a seat acceptance fee and further details.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I chose my course cause I was, am, and will be passionate about the disciple and it runs through my blood, and to my benefit, I can proudly state this is the best course that can be procured at this age. Talking about the faculty, It's completely based on luck as there is a 40:30:30 ratio among excellent:average: poor faculty respectively. Luckily I received the best in Digital Electronics And Focp but was unlucky in maths. The practicals are done in groups of 35 and core theory in 70. All the faculty are really phds' here and teaching is above par on an average. The evaluation system, to be honest, is well circulated and core subjects are easy to clear but you need concepts.

Internships Opportunities

4

Several companies do come in for internships and do offer preferred roles with pay. Standing out of the crowd is an individualistic agenda and getting it solely our responsibility. Having a grade A standard project is a must as nearly 30% of the people get through internships and for that industry-grade projects are a must.

Placement Experience

4

6th semester is the semester in which the companies start coming in. All the placement statistics are available on the website and are true. {There is a crowd and competition and it's up to you how much you avail to the oppurtunities}. Nearly 95% of TPP enrolled students do get placed. My plan is to get a nice role in a tech firm and grow and learn different tech stacks around the globe.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a series of concurrent fee hikes but enrolled batches face it utmost 5% on their base fees. Various scholarships are there to be availed like I can say there are plenty from academics to sports. There are on-campus roles with pay but I don't really is keen on these and hence don't have much information.

Campus Life

4

Loads and loads of events take place from IEEE events to the annual fest ( which is scheduled in may ). There are nearly 12 libraries on the entire campus and the library facilities are great. All classrooms are equipped with projectors and blinds and most labs have it's an average workstation. Sports and other activities are well encouraged. Way many clubs are present like any you can think of.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel rooms are equipped with good beds, Almirah, and table - chair as well as cooler vents. The meal quality can be deemed average. The registration is simple but seats are limited and are kinda affordable Pgs, as well as flats, are available nearby in quantity.

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro, cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed. The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
