Remarks

you will only get into engineering colleges in Odisha by getting a good rank in ojee or jee you will find the application form in jee.nic.in orojee.nic.in There is a reservation quota if you are sc/st. College is very good with good infrastructure. Classrooms are well maintained with all latest facilities.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I choose this course because it is a dynamic and rapidly growing area that has become an integral part of the world today it's quite nice because there's a maximum number of faculty present at NIST who are highly qualified. most of the teachers have studied from foreign. in a year u have to give 2 mid sem and 2 sem. it is quite easy for an average student to pass

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 175000 per year

Internships Opportunities

there were a lot of companies which gave stipends for internships you will know more about this in the nist. nic.in there were many projects and outcomes. the projects were mainly based upon your course and your branch

Placement Experience

from 3rd year onwards the students were fully eligible for the placement criteria Infosys, HCL,Tsc, Cisco,IBM, etc in 2021 the highest package collector was 21 LPA, mostly70% of students get placed in a good company that gives you a sweetly worth of your job

Fees and Financial Aid

there's a low hike every year in fees the first year fees were 175000 for hostelers and 125000 for day scholars in2021 most of the reservation quota students get scholarships from the Odisha government

Campus Life

the name of the annual fest is SANKALP and it is conducted mostly in February there were many sports in the college like- volleyball, basketball, table tennis, running, kabbadi, cricket, football there were many clubs in NIST and the most famous club among them is NCS

Hostel Facilities

the rooms are quite good well maintained, thrice a week the sweepers came and clean the room and the caretakers were always available for any problems the quality of the meal is ok but most of the students manage you will get to register for the hostel in the academic registration time.

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

Other Applied Colleges

They discriminate between girls and boys always
Discriminate between locals and others mainly if you are from Bihar
Many fights between odia and bihari every year

Decent faculty and top tier placements, just follow the rules

Likes

I like the vibe of the canteen and greenery around my college

Dislikes

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

Likes

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

DRIEMS UNIVERSITY review after 5 year of frustrating experience legacy will be continued ????....

Likes

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.
