Course Curriculum Overview

I choose BSc geology. it's a three-year course. The faculties are nice and kind, there are approximately 40 students in my department. We have two elective subjects, maths is compulsory and we have to choose between chemistry and physics. The faculties member are very eligible, the reaching method is good. There are weekly tests, sessional exams, practical exams, and the last theory paper for the end of the semester. The difficulty level is medium.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 54000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

For the application, we have to pay Rs 400. After we got selected we have 24 hours to submit 22000 for admission. After admission, we became part of the college. There are many scholarships for the students You can go to their website and click on scholarship to see details, there is no job for provided by the college.

Campus Life

The college provides many facilities for every course. The library is big and can find every book for their respective courses. The library also so student Xerox and printing word for students if needed, on above the library, there is a big auditorium hall which is provided to perform and meetings. The college has many sports grounds on campus like a basketball court, table tennis courses, and many more, extracurricular activities like singing, dancing, painting, quizzes, etc. are held by the college. There are many clubs like NCC club, NSS club, Antonian youth club, media club, drama club, botany, cyber club, and many more.

Likes

the overall campus, it's huge and nice. you can see trees everywhere
there are four canteens in the campus offering variety of foods
The professionals incharge of you are nice and will help you with everything

Dislikes

too many events, this college holds too many events

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is comprehensive ,balancing theory with practical applications. It effectively prepares students for industry challenges and also integrating more interactive teaching methods could improve engagement. Exams are frequent and moderately difficult occurring timely to assess progress without causing excessive stress.

Good environment, good mood

Likes

They have proper sanitation for girls as required
They have proper food and water supplies as required
They have proper stuff and faculty management

Dislikes

Examination timings are to be fixed during the winter
Uniform to be proper suring the winter ad required
Class timings have so much gaps during the morning

The indoor and outdoor curriculum activities is very on and off but when they conduct fest it is very nice and they have proper members of the group to provide with all the requirements and proper needs for the student's

A detailed review on my college (St Anthony’s,Shillong):pros and cons

Likes

There are many students here from different communities,tribes,and culture which helps unify poeple from different backgrounds
The faculty is nice and the teaching staff is supportive and well trained
The environment of the college is nice with proper balance of both scholastic and co scholastic activities

Dislikes

The fact that the department of fishery science is not recognised by the ICAR is a big setback for the department
There is huge number of group of students from different communities which also result in extreme communalism in some of them
There is a low number of faculty from other communities

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of my course is pretty good and helpful with proper teaching about the subject, it is also helpful for real-life work and activities with proper hands-in skills teaching and theoretical knowledge. But there is a big setback that it is not recognised by the Indian council of agricultural research(ICAR). Recognition by the ICAR will have a big boost in the course and department

Course Curriculum Overview:

Although this is a private college still it has recognition for the efficiency of this college. I wasn't interested in medicine and engineering. so I had to do a BSc so this college is one of the best in North East India. From the chemistry department, there are various scopes such as the food industry, oil industry, wax industry, ONGC, OIL, and various jobs. The teaching method is efficient and if there is any chance to improve then I would like to say that faculty should monitor that every student is being facilitated with proper materials.

Remarks:

Well, it is a great experience at my college. People are quite open-minded and positive always giving help to those in need. The teachers are quite friendly and always helpful. The college facilities like the library and study materials are quite fine. The college campus is also big enough to feel free to walk around. In short about my college it is one of the best.

Good Experience

Remarks:

The college management is very polite and kind. Overall, I think that I finally know why it is one of the top colleges. It has made such a positive impact on me and given me the confidence to face the real world. It has taught me that being timid and shy is of no use. The fees are feasible even for common people and faculties are well trained. It got all what it needs to be a good college and yes it is. I would recomment it to everyone.

I chose this college as its just 100 KM but the other one was too far. Plus was expensive too as I come from a middle class family. A detailed review on my college (St Anthony’s,Shillong):pros and cons

I applied into the university of agricultural sciences, Raichur. I got selected there and was invited for admission but I canceled my admission as it was too far away from my hometown. I got selected there for the degree of b.tech in agricultural engineering which I didn't really prefer too as I didn't want to persue b.tech. The college life

So I applied cuet and under cuet I applied for BHU and DU but I couldn't register for DU university registration because I didn't knew the last date. But I did applied in BHU but then cuet results were declared very late so I was not sure if I will get in BHU or not since DU was already out of my list .
