Remarks
The eligibility of the course is the student need to have passed 10+2 with 45% of marks in Maths. Physics and Chemistry stream. After this, you should Apply for the TS Eamcet Entrance test you can apply on the official website the application fee will be around 750 Rs. In order to get admission into your preferred college, you should get a minimum of 40 marks on the Entrance Test. The admission process is very easy but the entrance test is somewhat hard. There is another problem in the admission process that is college authorities only select students they want and simply reject others without reason.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am very much interested in Information Technology and Software Engineering that's why I chose this Course. New Technology Always Fascinates me and I think this course gives a good insight into Information Technology and its uses. The faculty at SPEC has a very good record of teaching and they are well experienced. Most of the lecturers are Ph.D. holders there are two lecturers for every class which is a nice thing. Every Semester there will be two mid-term examinations and every week there will be tests.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for B.Tech(IT) in SPEC is 75000 Rs a year. You can pay the fees on an installments basis. I think the fees are a bit more than other colleges which need to be reduced. If you are from a Minority caste or Sc/St you can apply for the scholarship but you will only get half of the total college fee as reimbursement the rest half you have to pay from pocket. The name of the scholarship is Telangana State Minority Scholarship. You can apply it on Ts Epass website.
Campus Life
The campus life at SPEC is very good. The college is equipped with every facility you need. There are a lot of fests conducted in the college every year in march or April. The library is nice all the books and journals are available any time. The classrooms are well-equipped teaching is done on the projector and the benches are neat and clean. The canteen has good food for an affordable price. Overall there are no remarks at the college In my opinion this is the best college for B.Tech.
