Remarks
The college management is very nice. The college has good infrastructure. The process is very nice I must admit. There is no hassles and undue wastages of time and efforts of the students right from admission to taking of final results.
Entrance Preview
Well it took me 86.60% in my 12th Exams to get to the college. The college is the finest in the entire North East Region and so I was excited to take admission there.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Course is divided into Semester System containing of 6 semesters. The Faculty members are well learned. The college has some of the pioneer teachers of North East including BB Dam (Now Retired), R.K. Pathak etc. The college also has many teachers on call who guides the students occassionally.
Internships Opportunities
The college doesn't have very high scope for internship programmes. However, many MNCs and IT companies come for training purpose and pay around 5000-10000 p.m
Placement Experience
The college has campus programmes with Companies from almost around the country but mainly focussed to North East Region. The companies are well established and pays around 25000-40000 p.m.
College Events
The college celebrates annual week every year. Many inter-college competitions are frequently organised in the college. The college also participate in cultural and sports events held at the university levels.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is very much accomodating. B.Com per year fee is around 8000 only. The cost of Books and Uniform is to be borne by the students. Per semester exam fees is around 1000.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college provides free admission to the First rank holders. Also to the students with highest marks in some particular subjects, the Head of the Concerned department provides with cash gifts.
Campus Life
The campus life was very comfortable and chilling. There is no discrimination on basis of any caste, creed, gender etc. I being a non local of this region was very well treated and adapted to the environment.Even sports events and festivals involve equal participation of Girls too. The college occassionally organises Quizes, Writing, Reading Competitions, Debate etc.
Hostel Facilities
The college has Boys hostel only. Girls Hostel is under construction. The boys hostel is near to the college. The hostel is clean with a very strict warden. However the food is hectic sometimes.
Alumni/Alumna
The senior students were helping. Ragging is prohibited in the campus. Even I was not ragged. The seniors helps you with studies, orientations etc. Hostel seniors are gracious. The are the call in the times of need.
Exam Structure
Frankly the exams weren't too frequent. Per semester of 6 months we had 2 exams, a pre finale and the other one final.
