Remarks

Candidates have to appear for CUCET for admission to any of the programmes. Apart from CUCET, the University also accepts several other national-level entrance exams based on the course. The application process at Chandigarh University is conducted in online as well as offline modes. For the online application process, candidates can visit www.cuchd.in to fill out the form.

Course Curriculum Overview

All the teachers are very helpful and qualified and knowledgeable, the teaching quality is excellent. The course curriculum is relevant and yes! It makes the student's industry ready! The exam is not so easy not so hard Better to maintain 8cgpa So that academic wise it will be okay.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Internships Opportunities

99 percent of students placed in B.E. The highest package is 35 LPA and average is 5 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. GOOGLE, MICROSOFT, AND INFOSYS, IBM, etc were the top recruiters. 80% of students get internships in my college. Software development, machine learning and web developing, software engineering roles are offered.

Placement Experience

About 95% of the students got placements from our course. The highest salary package offered was 28 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 4 LPA. Most of the students get placed because Chandigarh University not only focuses on education but also on the overall development of students.

Fees and Financial Aid

I think the teachers are average here. It depends upon the student how they participate in the online class. They have a good exam system. The course is indeed relevant. The semester exams are relatable easy from other colleges. A minimum of 7.5 CGPA is required to maintain the scholarship.

Campus Life

The infrastructure is good at Chandigarh University is across 200+ acres. The whole campus is equipped with Wi-Fi. at Chandigarh university, there are industry-level labs. It is a huge campus with lots of facilities like Wi-Fi, huge classrooms, huge labs, and a library with more than 8 lac books. In the hostel, the quality of food served in the mess is average, b...

The university provides good exposure to technical courses, eventrs , clubs, and extracurricular activities.
The campus has good labs, a library, and facilities that support students academic development.

More personalized mentorship and regular career guidance sessions would help student prepare for their future carees.
more internship opportunities would further improve students professional growth.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the CSE curriculum covers relevant subjects and provides a good foundation programming and computer science. It prepares students for futher studies and careers, through more industry-based projects and practical learning would be bemigficial. Exams include MSTs and ESTs, with a manageable difficulty level through regi;ar preparation.

majority of the things are all good in our university.

Placement Experience:

The placemnets in the university starts from the 3 year only. companies comes in the 3rd year, students= can give interviews in this year, and they can get the NOC. wich means you can go for the job or the iinternship and there is no need to take the classes, because you are taking the indyustry level experience in the prior basis also.

crowd is bonkers , except some local peeps , they'd be behaving weird
major events like freshers and orientation , they bring crazzy artists

Dislikes

hectic schedules drain the soul of you .
frequent exams test that are totally unnecesary
attendance is another nuisance , having 75 percent is must

Placement Experience:

placements of 2.8 cr occured but it was only one , most of the placements packages go under 8 lpa and extra fees has to be paid in order to be eligible for placement drives and that too doen't ensure the placement

A TOUR TO CGC LANDRAN

Likes

Events are more frequent here and most of the stars from punjabi industry are called more often for film promotions
No ragging is there infact seniors are friendly and try to help juniors
TPP (training and placement program) is provided that help students to crack placements

Dislikes

Attendance criteria (minimum 75 % is essential to maintain to be eligible to give exams)
Class timings are fixed from 9:15 to 4:35 and you can not enter in between 10 to 12:00 PM as gates are closed for this duration
Strength is rapidly increasing as new courses are introduced which increases competition during placements

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent, from 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement students need to enroll in TPP(Training and placement program) in order to get eligible for campus placement, Many companies visit our campus for eg Capgemini, LNT, ZSCALER, EDIFECS, AMAZON, PWC, WATCHGUARD TECHNOLOGIES etc overall above 200 offerrs are made to our senior batch with the highest package of 32LPA and average package of around 4.5LPA. more than 60% of students get placed . I am also sitting for campus placement and wish to get placed soon

College Life is Fun, Various activities and events happen in and around college, you got to know about others and crowd is also decent, Mostly Students are from northern regions that is Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand .
Teachers are good and placement coordinators also help students to get good package on campus. a decent package can be bagged by a student if he/she seriously study and obtain a decent CGPA in exam. Make sure you clear all exams till 8th semester.
Infrastructure Is also good, laboratories are fitted with new desktops and campus size is also decent, Tuck shops and various Canteens are available inside the campus. Also Central Library is there inside the campus where students can study in exam t

Dislikes

The curriculum for 1st and 2nd semester is purely based on subjects that you studied in 11th and 12th, the advance versions of those topics are there in 1st and 2nd semester which make it difficult for students to get good grades.
The placement in other branches like Mechanical, electrical is mere, and one can face difficult in getting on campus placement if he/she belongs to these streams. Also Lack of practical knowledge is there in these streams, Theory is more focused.
If one opt for hostels, then the hostel facilities are not as good as it should be , the mess food is pathetic and one can face difficulty if he/she opt for hostel, also campartively hostel fees are also very high, whereas nearby Pg's are cheaper

Placement Experience:

placement is good in our college. Aveage package is 400000, and average package for cse stream is approx 500000. Various companies like alstom, infosys, accenture, TCS, Wipro, amazon, Walmart, JP Morgan chase and co. etc visit campus every year and recruit students. Approx 300+ companies visit campus and above 80% of cse students are placed but In other streams like ECE.EE and ME etc placements are campartively lower and students face difficulty in order to get placed. MY plan is job oriented i also want to get placed on campus and hope so i will get placed in a good company.
