Remarks
The admission process was quite simple, the eligibility can be asked by contacting anyone from the university through its site from its official sites that is cucud.in and as for the entrance exams, we can give cucet which is held 2-3 times a year which will give us a proper scholarship the exams are nearly 12th level so it's a good opportunity to get a nice scholarship. The application form can be found on its official sites along with the information of due dates and application fees details. Ones the forms are filled you will be assigned an employee of CU who will personally guide you through all the procedures and clear your doubts or any problems you have.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose BE CSE regular but there are many specialized branches like Artificial intelligence, game development, cyber security, etc. well basically around 40 students are there in a class at max my class has the strength of 30 - 34 so the faculty to student ratio is quite good. The faculty are highly qualified and are very experienced in the field. there are 2 Mid sems first is after one month the semester beings and the next around 40 days from 1st Mst, The 1st MST has practicals as well as theoretical exams but the second has only theoretical. The exams aren't that difficult to pass but to get marks we gotta work hard.
Internships Opportunities
The companies that are here for internships are Infosys, google, amazon, and many other companies I don't have an exact idea of stipend but they are pretty good. you get a good amount of projects which help you on resumes for placements as well.
Placement Experience
The placements are quite good we get companies like Amazon and Microsoft, Infosys, and many other companies the highest package so far was around 32.5 lacs the percentage of students getting placed is also very high if you are good at your job then you get what you deserve. I plan on continuing y higher studies at foreign universities.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are quite affordable compared to other colleges and universities well the fee is fixed so there is no chance it will increase mid-way of your studies. The best way of obtaining the scholarship is to give a cucet exam which offers handsome amount of scholarship we can get around 80 percent of and if you are a sports student it's better, for any medal in UG level You can get up to 90% off on fees and extra diet for free to maintain you in form for from hostel mess.
Campus Life
Chandigarh University is known for its fest there are fests around the year and not just that there are many celebrities who come to Chandigarh university for their promotions. the cultural fest is known as CU fest. The availability of books in CU is top class you can get all sorts of books from academic to non-academic. The classrooms are good with ventilation and proper cleanliness and well-lit rooms. The is a separate sports complex for students and around and courts for nearly all sorts of sports.
