Remarks

I have given CET exam conducted by makaut university. The exam was online due to lockdown. The questions were from logical reasoning, find the odd one, Comprehension, active to passive, percentage related sums amd some common sense questions. The cutoff was not too high during my time..

Course Curriculum Overview

BCA (Bachelors in computer application) is a three year undergraduate degree, that focuses on the knowledge of basics of computer applications. You can get a job after BCA and also you can opt for higher studies.The faculties Of NSEC is highly educated and very helpful. They even encourage students for different extracurricular activities.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

BCA is a 3 year course. When I got admitted the total fees was 2.02 lakhs. During admission you have to pay 42,000 and rest you have to pay 32,000 per semester. After BCA you can get job through campusing. Many reputed companies like, MIcrosoft, TCS, Wipro, Amazon, flipkart came during campusing.

Campus Life

The campus of Netaji Subhasg Engineering College is not much big, But the environment is very clean. There is so many trees and a garden in the main area and a pool where ducks used to swim. The seniors are very polite and helpful. Many fests happens every year. Also there are many clubs related to photography, Sports and all.

Placement Experience:

The placements are really nice. Every year, a large amount of students are employed by Tech Mahindra, CTS, TCS, Wipro, etc. all software giants. The starting salaries are also decent. Most students get placed, but 100% placement has also been achieved by the college now.

Good College

Placement Experience:

Placement eligibility usually starts in the final year, but there are limited opportunities. Some IT and outsourcing companies visit, but they offer low salary packages. The average package offered is not very high about 3-4 LPA and only a small percentage of students get placed. Many students prefer to pursue an MCA or learn additional skills like web development, data science or cyber security to improve their job prospects. After completing my BCA, I plan to gain experience in IT related jobs improve my technical skills and possibly pursue higher studies like MCA. I might also explore freelancing or certification to increase job opportunities. Since I already have customer service and telecalling experience, I may also consider IT support roles before moving into core technical jobs. Building skills and networking will be important for getting a good job after graduation.

Things you should know before taking admission in NSEC

Others college which i got confirmed is RIT /quantum and haridwar university but i didn't go there because it was very far from my hometown and placement wasn't that much good as compared to my current college. Placement is okay

I have given the west bengal joint entrance exam(wbjee) and through it the nsec college was allotted to me through counselling process. When the result declared, you have to apply for counselling and put your choice of colleges with rank. Every round you will be allotted college according to your result rank. Passing out in 2025, have seen a old place in 2021, to a new college in 2025, rennovated

I had a senior in my locality, 2019 passout, following whom I joined NSEC. I still admire and thank him for guiding me while joining NSEC. While admission I didint face any kind of interview. I had got a rank in WBJEE, and during the first counselling round, I selected NSEC, got NSEC, and finalized it by paying the first semester fees. I wasnt rejected by any college, as I went ahead with my first option. The counselling round at college isnt anything special, just a question whether or not we would be able to bear the college fees, as all comes down to money.
