It was an entrance, conducted by the college. And i scored pretty well. Don't remember what was the number in the list.

Internships Opportunities

College does not offer internship but they do have a plan to start this program. Some of the departments, their students work on a project which helps them to get some stipend.

The placement record of the college is very good compared to other colleges in the state. Companies like Google, Wipro, Zaloni, Some BPO(s) and many technical companies had came to the college.

The college have a no. of events throughout the year. Every department of the college has some workshop, seminars, internation/national conferences . Which computer science department is alwasys part of it.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship that the government of india offers for the minority community such MOMA scholarship college also offers scholarship i will be able to say because that is not meant for GENERAL students.

A detailed review on my college (St Anthony’s,Shillong):pros and cons

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of my course is pretty good and helpful with proper teaching about the subject, it is also helpful for real-life work and activities with proper hands-in skills teaching and theoretical knowledge. But there is a big setback that it is not recognised by the Indian council of agricultural research(ICAR). Recognition by the ICAR will have a big boost in the course and department

Life in St Edmunds shillong

Course Curriculum Overview:

Although this is a private college still it has recognition for the efficiency of this college. I wasn't interested in medicine and engineering. so I had to do a BSc so this college is one of the best in North East India. From the chemistry department, there are various scopes such as the food industry, oil industry, wax industry, ONGC, OIL, and various jobs. The teaching method is efficient and if there is any chance to improve then I would like to say that faculty should monitor that every student is being facilitated with proper materials.

Remarks:

Well, it is a great experience at my college. People are quite open-minded and positive always giving help to those in need. The teachers are quite friendly and always helpful. The college facilities like the library and study materials are quite fine. The college campus is also big enough to feel free to walk around. In short about my college it is one of the best.

Good Experience

Remarks:

The college management is very polite and kind. Overall, I think that I finally know why it is one of the top colleges. It has made such a positive impact on me and given me the confidence to face the real world. It has taught me that being timid and shy is of no use. The fees are feasible even for common people and faculties are well trained. It got all what it needs to be a good college and yes it is. I would recomment it to everyone.

I chose this college as its just 100 KM but the other one was too far. Plus was expensive too as I come from a middle class family. A detailed review on my college (St Anthony’s,Shillong):pros and cons

I applied into the university of agricultural sciences, Raichur. I got selected there and was invited for admission but I canceled my admission as it was too far away from my hometown. I got selected there for the degree of b.tech in agricultural engineering which I didn't really prefer too as I didn't want to persue b.tech. The admission process was pretty simple for my college as we only had to apply online though the college website and the merit was based on our 12th grade results. So I applied cuet and under cuet I applied for BHU and DU but I couldn't register for DU university registration because I didn't knew the last date. But I did applied in BHU but then cuet results were declared very late so I was not sure if I will get in BHU or not since DU was already out of my list .
