Remarks
I got a seat at JNTU College of Engineering, Anantapur through EAMCET during the year 2019. My EAMCET rank is 7987 and I am certain that I would get the seat in JNTUA. But I am worried about how I might cope with the new environment but the facilities around here aren't as bad as I am worried about. At first, the admission process took almost the whole day to complete all the mandatory things and even the admission faculty helped us find the areas where we need to next to continue with the next step. All the application forms, and fee challans are provided to us in the very first place.
Course Curriculum Overview
I love to join civil engineering .so I join in civil. for every 40 students, there is a teacher. Faculty members are more knowledgeable about their subjects. Many of the faculty members are outside of the state. The mechanical department has many north Indian teachers. Even in this autonomous college, the exams will be very strict. Those students study well, they will pass their course.
Internships Opportunities
About 10% of students got internship opportunities from CTS and other companies. The top roles offered in this course are associate software developer roles. Mostly, TCS and CTS companies recruit us. Every student has completed an internship of about 1 month.
Placement Experience
Many companies don't visit our college, but half of the strength gets a job in software companies. They can't guarantee core jobs related to mechanical engineering. The average salary package offered is not much, but it is about 5-6 LPA. If you are enough with it, you can join. the companies like TCS, Wipro,tech, etc visited the college for placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is manageable it is around 15000 per year. the job opportunities are good in college. Above 60% of students got placed in our college. 6 LPA is the highest package offered, 2 LPA was the lowest, and 4 LPA was the average package offered in our course. 78% of students got internships from my course in Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, etc.
Campus Life
The annual fest which is conducted for civil engineering is RACE(recent advances in civil engineering).it is conducted in April. the class ros are very big and clean in the college. we have the college Library which consists of a large number of books.it consists of the student's clubs like arts, soft skills, etc.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility will be provided on a first come first serve basis. Hostels are facilitated with the dispensary, a reading room stocked with magazines, newspapers, books on personality development, Indoor Sports facilities like Chess, Table Tennis, and Carom, T.V.Room, and cooperative stores. Good food and facilities are provided in the college hostel.
