College management is awesome they are able to provide students best in class education at affordable rate. I feel its a good decesion that i had taken to pursue BE in mechanical Engineering from SDMCET Dharwad.

I Have taken Common Entrance Test (CET) Karnataka and i have scored 5932 Rank i have opted this college because of its experienced lectures and placements i was placed in 3 MNC out of 3, 2 software company and 1 Mechanical core company.

My electives were, Internal combustion engines-Deals with working and efficiency of engine, Finite elemental methods-Deals with breaking of a element under study into number of finite elements and finding the stress concentration at different points, Energy Management deals with energy conservation techniques and house to use available energy efficiently, Introduction to aircraft and aircraft systems deals with basis terminologies of aircraft like drag, spoilers, horizontal stabilizer, vertical stabilizer, history of aircraft and its evolution, design of aircraft structures deals with design aspects of aircraft components like ribs, flaps, fuselage, cabin etc, Aircraft courses are sponsored by infosys.

I have got an internship At CMC Commutator Pvt Ltd belgaum they had sponsored my major project my project cost was 12000Rs as a generalized statement only few companies come to SDMCET for internship but there are many MNC that come to SDMCET for placement both Software and core company.

Fee structure is divided into 2 categories, college fee and next CET feecollege fee was 3000rs and CET fee was 28090rs, totally my fee for a year was 31090rs, This was in 2008-2012 fee is feasible and very cheaper.

I have not availed any loan or scholarship from the college there are facility available from government for backward class students.

I stayed in a hostel inside the college campus it was a room with attached washroom,2 sharing and room was spacious with wifi facility available inside the whole campus cost of mess was around -1500rs a month cost of room -1500 a month rooms were good and

Alumini network of SDMCET is good recently SDM GLOBAL ALUMNI MEET 2015 held on 6 th NOV 2015 at RIXOS The PALM DUBAI. Seniors are achieveing great milestones because of which companies are coming every year.

Exam was well organised in terms of dates.As SDMCET is an autonomous college.They have the freedom of choosing dates,syllabus depending on industry requirement and market scope.It was not hectic it was chilled out.
