Remarks

For admission in an branch in the college you need to give an entrance exam called "CUCET" which is the entrance as well as scholarship exam for this college . The more the marks you scored in that exam the more you will get the scholarship and if you scored 100% in this exam you will get free education in this college. For giving this exam you need to register in their website and there options is available to apply for CUCET exam. The cost of this examination is 1000/- and last year there was option to give exam again after giving 500 rs more. ST,CE,OBC get admission on reservation basis. I think admission prosses is good and easy.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I choose this course because i was having interest in coding and i wanted to get a job which involves coding As the number of student in this college is more college has recruted many faculty in this college Teaching method is based on whiteboard and projector in everyclass and techer are also high quilified and some of the techer have less experience but majority teachers are good Our mst's exam are about 1 hr currently[online] which include 40 mcqs in it.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Internships Opportunities

3.5

College provides many intership opportunity from the compition occured in the campus and also there are sepate performance based intership opportunites available at the college project are based on the team work.

Placement Experience

3.5

I think from 2nd years itself a student is elegible for internship and from 3rd year the student is elegible for campus placements IT giants such as Microsoft,IBM,SAP labs are visted cu for placements Its is mention in the website that 100% campus placements occurs last year i am not comfirm about this because i am currently in 1 year. Currently i have no plans after getting the degree

Fees and Financial Aid

Cost of normal CSE branch is 90000 per semester but i have given "CUCET" where i scored 70 percentage and got 40 percentage schorlarship so for me its 54000 per semester (scholarship is for 2 semester). If you wanted to continue your scholarship you need to score 7.5 cgpa + 75% attendane in class. Name of scholarship exam is cu scholarship exam. College also provide loan for the students.

The campus is beautiful, spacious, and offers good infrastructure with modern facilities.
The university provides good exposure to technical courses, eventrs , clubs, and extracurricular activities.
The campus has good labs, a library, and facilities that support students academic development.

The fees are high and losing a scholarship due to cgpa requirements can create a significant financial burden.
More personalized mentorship and regular career guidance sessions would help student prepare for their future carees.
more internship opportunities would further improve students professional growth.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the CSE curriculum covers relevant subjects and provides a good foundation programming and computer science. It prepares students for futher studies and careers, through more industry-based projects and practical learning would be bemigficial. Exams include MSTs and ESTs, with a manageable difficulty level through regi;ar preparation.

crowd is bonkers , except some local peeps , they'd be behaving weird
major events like freshers and orientation , they bring crazzy artists

Dislikes

hectic schedules drain the soul of you .
frequent exams test that are totally unnecesary
attendance is another nuisance , having 75 percent is must

placements of 2.8 cr occured but it was only one , most of the placements packages go under 8 lpa and extra fees has to be paid in order to be eligible for placement drives and that too doen't ensure the placement

A TOUR TO CGC LANDRAN

Likes

Events are more frequent here and most of the stars from punjabi industry are called more often for film promotions
No ragging is there infact seniors are friendly and try to help juniors
TPP (training and placement program) is provided that help students to crack placements

Dislikes

Attendance criteria (minimum 75 % is essential to maintain to be eligible to give exams)
Class timings are fixed from 9:15 to 4:35 and you can not enter in between 10 to 12:00 PM as gates are closed for this duration
Strength is rapidly increasing as new courses are introduced which increases competition during placements

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent, from 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement students need to enroll in TPP(Training and placement program) in order to get eligible for campus placement, Many companies visit our campus for eg Capgemini, LNT, ZSCALER, EDIFECS, AMAZON, PWC, WATCHGUARD TECHNOLOGIES etc overall above 200 offerrs are made to our senior batch with the highest package of 32LPA and average package of around 4.5LPA. more than 60% of students get placed . I am also sitting for campus placement and wish to get placed soon

College Life is Fun, Various activities and events happen in and around college, you got to know about others and crowd is also decent, Mostly Students are from northern regions that is Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand .
Teachers are good and placement coordinators also help students to get good package on campus. a decent package can be bagged by a student if he/she seriously study and obtain a decent CGPA in exam. Make sure you clear all exams till 8th semester.
Infrastructure Is also good, laboratories are fitted with new desktops and campus size is also decent, Tuck shops and various Canteens are available inside the campus. Also Central Library is there inside the campus where students can study in exam t

Dislikes

The curriculum for 1st and 2nd semester is purely based on subjects that you studied in 11th and 12th, the advance versions of those topics are there in 1st and 2nd semester which make it difficult for students to get good grades.
The placement in other branches like Mechanical, electrical is mere, and one can face difficult in getting on campus placement if he/she belongs to these streams. Also Lack of practical knowledge is there in these streams, Theory is more focused.
If one opt for hostels, then the hostel facilities are not as good as it should be , the mess food is pathetic and one can face difficulty if he/she opt for hostel, also campartively hostel fees are also very high, whereas nearby Pg's are cheaper

Placement Experience:

placement is good in our college. Aveage package is 400000, and average package for cse stream is approx 500000. Various companies like alstom, infosys, accenture, TCS, Wipro, amazon, Walmart, JP Morgan chase and co. etc visit campus every year and recruit students. Approx 300+ companies visit campus and above 80% of cse students are placed but In other streams like ECE.EE and ME etc placements are campartively lower and students face difficulty in order to get placed. MY plan is job oriented i also want to get placed on campus and hope so i will get placed in a good company.
