Remarks
Sastra's tuition fees are quite affordable and cheap when particularly in comparison to certain other deemed universities in Tamilnadu. There is no donation or reservation, and admission is purely based on merit. I applied to the college after passing the CAT exam, and after being chosen, I was called for a GD and a PI. During the admission process, my academic record was also considered.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum adheres to industry standards and the most recent industry guidelines. The curriculum provides us with fundamental and advanced knowledge in finance, management, marketing, and other fields. Based on my personal experience, I found the course to be quite engaging and interesting. The college faculty is excellent. The faculty is PhD-level, and they are specialists, particularly the coding faculty. The faculty members have extensive research and practical experience and are extremely cooperative.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are available at companies such as Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, and TCS through the college. After completing our three-year programme, we are eligible for the internship. The college placement cell assists and advises us in selecting companies for internships. The typical stipend was around 50,000.
Placement Experience
We must fill out some forms and register with the placement cell at the end of the second semester in order to participate in the placement process. The placement cell is dedicated to helping us in identifying companies that match our interests. Sastra University's placement is excellent, and the college is well-known for its high-quality placements. My batch's highest package was around 25 LPA, and the average salary was around 9.50 LPA. The college has a very good track record of 85 to 95 per cent.
Campus Life
The campus life is fantastic. Colosseum is the college's annual sports event, which is one of the largest sports events in Tamil Nadu because many other universities from the state compete in the sports competition, Daksh is the college's technical fest, where we get to demonstrate innovative skills, and Kurukshetra is the college's cultural fest. The college has sports facilities such as badminton courts, volleyball courts, and basketball courts. Many best-selling author's books from the international level are housed in the college library.
