Remarks

I have taken admission on merit bases so, I didn't give any entrance exam to get admission. First, you have to register on the DU website and apply for ug admissions. Next, you have to wait for the cut-offs, you should be taken as considering best four subjects if any language subject is added in best four then 1 per cent will be deducted from best four subjects percentage. According to your best 4 subjects' performance when the 1 first cut-off is released you have to check in which college you are eligible to apply in a particular course, if you didn't match the 1st cut off in any college wait for the 2nd cut off because most of the universities out 4,5 cut-offs through which you get admission. Suppose if you are applying to any college and your application is approved then you have to pay the fee and take admission on it, if in any case, you want to cancel your admission you have to pay a cancellation fee of rupee 1000. Universities also out special cut off but it was risky

I am a b.com student so in Du commerce department is very good as teachers are very helpful and guide as very well overall crowed facility member as so good the can help in various programs in which you can apply.

Yaa, In our college placement cell, provides internship opportunities to students to have work experience where I think the monthly stipend ranges between 5000-10000. For b.com students as I am b.com so have knowledge about b.com internships.

Placement Experience

I am the 2nd. Year student, so I have no knowledge about placements and all but I have listed to some of my seniors that there is a placement cell which provides an average package of 4-5 lakhs a year to the students.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am a b.com student so my fee is 7450 for the year, it was quite affordable for all because where ever you go for a simple b.com you have to pay in private colleges like 20-30 thousand and in our college facility member provide various opportunities for freshers to grow up.

Yaa, in Delhi University all the colleges have there own fest, where a student came for an, enjoy as in like it the festival for all the college's in Delhi University many colleges invite chief guest also as like celebrities.

Likes

Affordability in terms of fee structure and degree they don't have huge amount of fee for any particular program.
Market value as its the oldest and known college of delhi university and their new buildings makes it value for money college.

Dislikes

college do not have proper hygiene in terms of classroom and campus

its highly reletive as they claim and mention in their course structure. they overall difficulty level the exam level are also moderate and if its about the areas for improvement they should focus key campus and library area its should be accessable to all

good campus life like cafeteria area, library, and classrooms

could get a bit crowded when both the shifts have classes

the whole reason i chose jims kalkaji is beacuse of placements it is popular for placements it offers multiple placements after your 3rd or 4th year of specializtion different multiple companies come here to pick students.

The college provides a good acedemics foundation and opptunities for overall development. being Part of delhi university also give student exposure to different events

some classroom and campus facilitues need improvement
placement oppotunites can be improved, esecially for student looking for better corporate exposure.
the evening college schedule can something be inconveibient because many acitvity and oppotunities are generally more accessible during regular college hours

Life at South Campus

Likes

The crowd at venky is great, diverse crowd.
The campus is well maintained and is one of the bests at DU.
Opportunities provided to students are great

The attendance policy is a little strict for 1st and 2nd year

The course provides a comprehensive image of finance and management, though after NEP, the curriculum seems a little irrelevent. The exams are conducted twice in a year, 2 sems per year, they conduct mid sem exams as well.

Shyam Lal College( Morning) Review

Likes

College is improving day by day teaching faculty is also helpful it recently got A++ NAAC credition as well
Overall college is good if you have good peer group.
Near to north campus so doesn't really feel much of headache if you want to visit regularly.

Dislikes

Shadara is not a good place to spend your college life.
Evening college crowd has made the reputation of the college bad.
Near by area is not safe for Girls in late hours.

Placement Experience:

6th sem is the first time college placement are proceeded . Companies are not impressive and mostly are entry level jobs such as cold calling and such which they offer. Highest package was 4 lpa and avg was 2.5 only. Around 60 percent students gets placed.

The online learning platform is easy ans simple to use students can acces lecture and assigments and study materials anytime
Faculty mambers provide clear guidance through online sessions and study materials they are supportive
They procides recording that was very usefull when we will not attend the live class

Dislikes

Since the classes are in online and also there are some techical issues while taking classes that will interupt classes
placement support is limited in online classes so students need to search for internships and job oppertunities on their own
Its deffecult to connect student coordinators while we wnat exam timetable etc they are too slow

I choose BCOM because the want to take ACCA after BCOM it will helps to improve my career and give a better job and also BCOM is the basices of ACCA like law, financial managment, taxation etc .The curriculam provide strong fountation for students who wamts to pursue higher studies such as M.COM , MBA and professuonal couses. BCOM helps to understanding real world bussiness practices , accounting sytem etc . on;ine study material recordimg leture and assigments also make flexible for students to study their own pace. exams are usually conducted semister wise the difficulty level 0of exam are moderate if students were attend the class regulary and prepare well

i dont like any thing in this college

there is a green gaurden in my colleges old campus
we have a big ground in our college which i like i can play football there
they make an football ground in old campus which is good

Dislikes

techers are not good in teacing they just want to let it go the classes
my college was too small and the classes are not properly furnished for my class size
there is no place for sit in the shade or to make our mind diverted or have fun and the canteen is worst of old campus

i am from commerce background i want to do eco honers but in 12th i dont have mathematics so i cant then i decideid for b. com honers but i aloted the b.com program which is my 3rd priority umm i leanrd new things in my ncc and with my friends there are very less college activities to i dont know how to make my college life good and make some experiences they can make us travel with them to the real buiseness or any factory or a relay paper work from any company i want to do a camp in jab which is good for my ncc life but it is during my exams thats why i cant did that camp yet

My journey at you from classrooms to cafe

I applied to several colleges under Delhi university, including Hindu College, kirori mal College and Motilal. I got confirmed admission in Motilal. I choose Motilal because of its good academic reputation, active student societies and comparatively better. The top of my course the faculty is supportive and the location of the college is convenient with a vibrant campus, life and opportunity to participate in various Extra curriculum activities. I couldn't make it to Hindu or kirori mal their cut off is very high. My score is a 430 out of 800. Which wasn't sufficient to a seat in top higher colleges, my school fell shot of the requirements and I later that I should Have more strategically to target these colleges. The admission processor, Delhi University recently chain and now it's completely CUET for undergraduate admission. For my course BA program. The CUETUG is accepted. Students have to apply through common seat allocation system portal of DU where the eligibility is privately based on class 12th marks and CUET score the cut-off very differently on the course and college and student need to prioritise their choice on the CS portal. overall admission experience was smooth but competitive. It require patient and careful planning of courses and college preference. Even though I can't make it to my dream College, I am happy with my choice at Motilal Nehru College of a balance Academy and social environment, and I look forward to make the most of time here....Read More
