1. The admission was through an entrance exam conducted by Chandigarh University itself. A minimum of 40 marks was needed to qualify and subsequently, scholarships are also provided based on the marks scored by you. More marks mean more percentage of scholarship. 2. The application form is easily available on the university's official website, there you need to create your account by signing in and then follow the procedure as shown on the screen. The admission form will ask for a fee of amount Rs.1000.

I chose this course because of the growing demand for tech and IT in the market along with my interest in the field. This university has a lot of intake of students every year, and faculties are also available and are recruited more as per the needs. Teaching is quite interesting as some faculties might prefer to make use of the PPTs and PDFs. Also, quizzes are provided by them after every lab class to polish the knowledge of students in practicals and for better understanding. Term exams are conducted every month, and the difficulty level was quite good.

Companies like Vecros, Reliance industries gas processing, and Solution Inc. provide internships to the students. The type of projects offered by the companies is not to my knowledge as I am still in my 1st year of the degree.

Highest Package: 52 LPA Lowest package: 3 LPA Most of the students are placed during the campus placements, like last year around 7000 students were placed. Big companies come here to provide the placements like- Amazon, Google, Microsoft, TCS, IBM, Delloite, etc. as per my knowledge students are eligible from the final year of their degree to sit for the placements, but before that, they can apply for the internships. I have a very strategized plan for doing what I want to after the completion of my degree and I will try my best to execute it successfully. I will sit for the campus placements and will grab one of them.

A fee may hike every next year for the new joiners but will remain the same for the previous students. Scholarships are provided in many fields the first one is the CUCET entrance exam, along with the 12th class percentage, jee mains score, and also if you are a ward of army, navy, air force. I haven't got any job yet as I am still in my 1st year. In terms of financial assistance, you can also apply for a loan which is provided by the university itself.

Recently CU Fest was held a month ago. Tech fests is conducted many times based on your skills in hacking and programming etc. In the library, you can find books in each section related to your course and syllabus along with English fiction and novels. Also, they provide competitive exams and defense exams books along with newspapers available every day in the library. The sports complex is also there on the campus itself in which you can enjoy different types of sports, like running track is their, cricket nets, basketball courts, football ground, etc.

Facilities provided in the room: single bed, almirah, table chair, open-spaced balcony, AC Duct. Meal quality is average, variety of meals is provided every day. For hostel facilities, you can apply it on the admission form itself while filling the form.
