Remarks

After attending some career counseling sessions, I found out that Mechanical Engineering was my field of interest, so I decided to apply for it for my graduation. I filled application forms of several institutes, and got selected in this one through JOSAA counseling. It was my hard work for clearing JEE which helped me to get admission here. My university is a decent one with all basic amenities.

Entrance Preview

A good score in JEE was required to get admission here. I worked hard during my class 12th in order to clear JEE in first attempt as I didn’t want to spend a year in coaching. My JEE score met the cut-off of this university and I decided to study here. My score card of class 10th and 12th, along with JEE score report were cross checked during counseling.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum of my program was latest and updated. We were taught from the basics to the advanced concepts during the four years. The teachers used innovative methods of teaching and interacted well with us. During the practical classes, we were made aware about different tools and how to bring them to use. Several workshops were also conducted for us.

Placement Experience

3

The placement offered by my college is satisfactory but one can easily seek a job by applying on own at any government or private organization. My college is trying to improve its placement rate by collaborating with different companies. During my batch 15LPA was highest offered package while the average was 7LPA. Most of us decided to do M.Tech as the job placement is quite decent after it.

Fee Structure And Facilities

My program was of four years with an annual fee of ₹1,34,000 which included tuition fee, lab fee, program fee, and other miscellaneous fee. The fee was affordable so I didn’t apply for it but one can apply for it, if required as my college provides certain financial aid to the financial weak ones. More information about scholarship can be obtained from college office or official website.

Course Curriculum Overview:

After learning about all the different courses I thought of going for soil science as it is the basis of all the other agricultural sciences. Practical classes exposes us to various real world experiences. The only area where our college can improve is providing better facilities for practicals. The frequency is timing of exams is very comfortable.

Placement Experience:

There was a very organised department which was solely engaged in the placement and related services for the members of different courses and the placement cell was knowledgeable. The university admission cell plays a significant role since the training and placement committee is responsible for all aspects of the placement process and also assists with it. The batch's top compensation package was over 12 LPA.

Remarks:

The college is lacking in terms of facilities which was present in colleges with lower cutoffs. Working so hard for JEE and then getting a college like this one demotivates and irritates a lot. Positive things are like the campus is beautiful and a few alumini are good.
