Remarks

You have to sit in jee or Ojee examination to take admitted to this college. To take admission online/offline form is available. There is no application fee but you have to give 10000 at the time of registration as a seat reservation process which is managed in your college fee later.

Course Curriculum Overview

The one thing best about college is placement almost all the eligible students got placed. The faculty in a college is highly experienced and educated. The teacher-student ratio is 1:40. The term exam is on time and it is very strict as compared to other college in Bhubaneswar.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 85000 per year

Placement Experience

Student from the 6th sem is allowed to sit in a placement. The bigger name that comes into the college is Tcs, Tech Mahindra and tata power. Around 60 to 80 companies visited every year. The highest package offered by this company is 8 lakhs and the lowest package offered is 3.5 lakhs. Almost 70 to 80% of students got placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee hike is not much in our college. You can hardly pay 700000 to complete the course in college. The student who got above 70% got a 10% discount on the college fees. The benefits of the Bihar Student Credit Card (BSCC) are also available.

Campus Life

On Saturdays, there is a musical night held in college. Annual fest is held during the end of every year and a tech fest is also organised at end of odd sem. There is a very big library where you can get many type of books. The classes having a good lightning and A/C to make class room good. There is a hobby club every thrusday from 2 to 4 p.m where you can learn what you want. The sports event is organised in a college in February.

Hostel Facilities

There is 2 to 3 student in a single room which is not idle according to the size of the room. 24 hour Wi-Fi and electricity are available. There is a mess in college where the food is almost the best in state culture which I personally didn't like. You have to fill out a form at the time of admission if you want a college. In the locality there is a large number of rooms and PG.

The environment of KIIT is best for student as their are students from all over India you learn many things other than just your course.
The college life for the students at KIIT is awesome as the architecture of the university is designed for students to explore every possible thing required by any student.
The fest of KIIT is just best the students enjoy those days the most.

Dislikes

As for me their are no flaws that I can say I dislike in KIIT.

Placement Experience:

The placement was quite good. The one who is disciplined and willing to get placed and surely get placed and the total average was around six LPA and the highest package was 53 LPA, which was offered by the atlassian

Likes

Beautiful campus with lot's of space and with good computer labs
They conduct exam in very smoothly manner

Dislikes

Need to improve administrative building while submitting fees many students face problem
Lab session of some subjects are too long which is around 3 hrs which need to reduce for atleast 2 hrs

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

Have collabs with IBM, Samsung, Capgemini for RnD and NUS singapore , University of North Texas
Our college has hosted International Conferences like IEEE InGAARS 2025and Indocrypt 2025, where scientists had came from NASA, ISRO, all IITs, Foreign Universities, etc
Exposure is Good. The teachers here put efforts to teach and research. Unlike other colleges where teachers comes and roll out PPTs, here every teacher teaches on Board explaining everything properly

Dislikes

Few teachers speak in Odia accent, so it takes couple weeks to adjust
Campus is kind of small (36acres), but its good area for a IIIT, considering IIIT delhi is just 25 acres
3 occupancy hostels for 1st years (same goes for any other NIT/IIIT), but they have a option of single rooms from 2nd year

Placement Experience:

from 6th sem, students are eligible almost 100 companies visited including IBM, VISA, Infosys, DE Shaw etc. Highest is 63 LPA and avg is 12-13LPA 90% placements I may consider doing MBA if I dont get very big package

From 6th sem of completion eligible to sit in placement called by campus placement in university. Companies like accenture, techmahindra,tech bee,and wipro comes for hiring. Highest package till now is 29 lpa and lowest is 1.5 lpa. Average package is 5lpa. Mostly 80 percentage of students getting placement from campus drive. My plan after getting degree is getting job from campus drive.

The professor who taught in our class they are taught is best In teaching.
They provide you many opportunities to work upon on you.
The infrastructure of college is good and huge.

Dislikes

The campus is very vast, and you have to walk for every minute of work.
The are very serious about your study and what you are doing
The gate get closed if you get came late even it's 5-10 minute late.

Placement Experience:

It's good as many company come but the placement directly depend on your study and hard work of your 4 year and a pre placement also conduct in 3rd year where you can also get placed. For placement the student should secure 8-10 cgpa for sit in interview exam.

Best College in this Budget

I applied in SOA and Trident Academy because of the high course fee ,i didn't do the addmission. Gift is Autonomous college and my elder brother preferred me this college and the fee is affordable.
