Remarks

I took my admission through the ACPC department. ACPC conduct admission for all first-year fresh student. ACPC cover almost all university or college for B. Tech or B. E. Degree course. After registering on of website, I got a 1287 rank in Gujarat. I choose the best college for round 1 and I got admission to Vishwakarma Government Engineering college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

IT has a huge opportunity or scope for the student. And I'm a little bit interested in software engineering so that's why I prefer INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY. Right now I'm studying in sem 2 . So in sem-1, I connect with my IT department faculty. In my personal overview, In VGEC IT department's faculty is the BEST. Our Faculty is excellent in Teaching as well as In a practical way. In 2021 due to covid, we have a very short term for sem-1. In GTU examination is not that difficult to Pass.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 1500 per year

Placement Experience

All over students get a minimum of 4.5 lakh placement package in our college. I met my senior, she was already placed and she got 7 lakh package. If we want to get 2022 place students more information, we should visit vgec official website in the placement and training cell section.

Fees and Financial Aid

VGEC is a government college so there are very low fees. Did I pay only 1500? for sem1. In our college, there is a student section that guides the use of the MYSY scholarship. I took my hostel admission outside of the college so the government give me Hostel Sahay through the MYSY scholarship. There is an obvious campus placement in our college.

Campus Life

3.5

In our college, there are many clubs which are run by our Vgec students. I found that BACHPPAN OGO, IEEE club, ADAVANATURE club etc. Ther are lots of club activities in our college right now running. Vgec manages many seminars for our career guidance. Vgec is on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn with their official page. We can visit their pages. VGEC have a good infrastructure. I think in there are up to K blocks on our campus.

The parul university review

Likes

The campus view is awesome we all will see new things everytime and it feels fresh at the morning.
The personal development of particular students have been in focus of every faculty which is awesome.
The behaviour towards students of every professor is the best all are understanding and calm towards students.

Dislikes

There is a system of gate pass means whenever u need to go out of main gate with the permission we are not allowed to go.
In hostel the washrooms are not so clean for the students with common washroom hostel
The mess food are boring sometimes and the food of the food seems to be same everytime

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I have a great interest in coding and this field is based on coding so i choosed the computer field. -The curriculum of the college are based on the things which will help us in future for real world application. -The way they i based on pdf means they make a full note of a subject in pdf and explain that and which makes clear to us so I don't think they should change. -There is a enough time to study for exams it depends on us how me manage it and the difficulty level is medium it is based on what we have understood till now in studies we have studied.

Likes

The collage infrastructure is really good and vibrant, it is well developed.
Campus life is really good, there are food courts, playground, libraries avaliable.
The whole campus has wifi avaliable, they've got atm too.

Dislikes

there are quite a few restrictions like no roaming allowed after 9:30pm.
mess food is not so good, its managable but sometimes it feels miserable
for every small thing to be done, lots of paperwork is required whether you need to go outside the campus or needs a NOC

Placement Experience:

in my unversity, proper placements usually start from 7th sem, however after 4th sem, the collage provides the opputunity to go for impact traning if youve got more than 60% in your 10th, 12th and throughtout the semesters from that traning top permorning student get a chance to sit for product-based companies. as of now (jan 2026), the highest placement recorded is 60lpa at microsoft, the average is aroudn 3.5 lps to 6 lpa, most of the recruiting companies are service based such as capgemini, infosys, tcs etc. around 200-250 students gets palce after heavy filtering, i plan to go for higher studies,
