Remarks

I graduated from this college. It is one of the best DU colleges on the South campus. College offers many opportunities. the big playing ground is available, with Clean classrooms, a Big library, and an auditorium. And many facilities are also available for students for every stream like science, art, and commerce also. They conduct Events at Deshbandhu College and organize its annual fest Sabrang in even semesters. Each department has its society which organizes seminars and lectures by eminent scholars and scientists. Chemistry lab, physics lab, biochemistry lab, botany lab, zoology lab, computer science lab, cafeteria. The Wi-Fi facility is available and is very good, which is a good thing for all college students.

The teachers here are very helpful to all students, and they teach in a good manner. They complete the book syllabus in a very easy and good manner. They are very knowledgeable, and they all are good. A high percentage of students pass, which is very good

Yes, scholarships are given to students with good academic records. some scholarships from the college side and also some from the government side are available in the college. and being a givernment college the fee for this college is also very reasonable. If you have any doubt in fee you can just go to centre ask for it they clear you.

There are 26 societies are there in college as well NCC AND NSS are very active in college which helps the student to participate in their extra curriculum activities. They organize a social groups for projects and clubs.

SRCC- Asia's Best college experience

Placement Experience:

Students of 3rd year are eligible for the same. Mckinsey, BCG, Bain, Blackrock, Meesho etc being the most prestigious recruiters. Highest package varies, but it went around 36 L last year. Avg being around 8 L. I would say most students who apply for placements get placed, however only a few get placed in the top companies. I personally wish to pursue an MBA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Although, people say that B.Com doesn't have a great scope to it, I feel like there are many life lessons that we are taught during our college years. Since the introduction of NEP 2020, there has been a rather great emphasis on practical learning. In our college, we are asked for presentations and group projects to promote learning and communication. The presence of SEC and VAC also helps you develop your soft skills, groom your personality and live a happy and healthy life. Exams are help at the end of every semester. There are a few guides and PYQs with the help of which a student can prepare for these exams. They are relatively easy in my opinion and do not require extreme efforts. Overall, it's a great experience and a great opportunity to learn so many things.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose b.Com because I am from a commerce background. It is an open college class held only on Sundays classrooms are good but washrooms are average. Teachers are experienced and well-educated. Exams are held on every 6 months semester wise you have to study hard to clear exams.

Well I was very clear to go for MBA after completing the program so placement was never a big deal for me but there are few companies which come every year at the last sem for placements and 10-20% get good placement.
