Affordable College with great surroundings

My admission to this college was confirmed based on the merit list of the State Entrance Exam named MHT - CET. Once the entrance test results (AIR) are declared, there are 3 rounds for college selection. In the first round, you need to fill in the choices of 10 colleges, this can be done by looking at the previous year's cut-off marks, after that if you fit in the current year's cut of the filled choices of college, you'll be allotted once. I was allotted my college in the first round itself after which you need to confirm your seat within 10 days of allotment. To confirm the allotment, you need to submit all the documentation and allotment letters to the college and reserve the seat. This college also provides the facility of reservation based on your category. Additionally, for general category students, there are a few seats reserved for economically backward students as well which you can apply for under TUITION FEES WAVIER SCHEME.

I chose this course out of interest looking at the vast future opportunities and career growth in this domain. We had 2 divisions each year to manage staff for every student. The staff-to-student ratio for all the subjects was 1:60 All the faculty are Minimum Postgraduates in their respective subject fields. We also had a few Ph.D. senior faculty for tough subjects like SOM, DOM, TRIBOLOGY, TOM, etc. The course content was decided by the University of Pune, the curriculum was moderately difficult. It had a balanced focus on theory and practicals. The exams were conducted every 6 months and we had 2 terms every year (semester)

The basic fee structure during our period was 1.5 Lacs per year. The fees were incremental by 10-15% every year There were also reservations for different categories like SC ST OBC EBC. I availed OBC scholarship where I got 50% of my tuition fees reimbursed. I secured my first placement from college in a Pune Based MNC Flex Pvt. Ltd., with a starting package of 2.5 LPA.

Every year college conducts an annual gathering where in we get a chance to showcase our talents apart from curriculum. Aside to this small functions are also conducted at departmental level on various occasions like teachers day, etc. The central library is well maintained with most of the recent journals and publications. The college also conducts sports functions annually and inter-departmental matches are also done every year. There are many local groups you can join like dance group, singing group, sports club, natak club, etc.
