College through my eyes.!

Good- infrastructure, best placement, Apple, Intel ,etc training at low cost, other certification courses.. , HRD department.. Bad- too strict , fines for small reasons. Some partialities..

I gave the examination of COMED-K, got around 15000 rank and joined this college at first by seeing the infrastructure and after being recommended by brothers. Studying in this city

the syllabus was old which wasn't satisfactory.. but this time they have changed with new CBCS system having good syllabus and points grade system. It is now realizing the value of latest syllabus so they are doing many necessary changes to get up to the mark which is being observed in present days.

This college placement is good in the area and among most colleges. many companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, tech Mahindra, Accenture, Capgemini, Nokia, Samsung, etc comes for recruitments. the highest which went last year was 11 lakhs taken by Indian Navy with some 4-5 students second was Nokia 7 lakhs with some 10 students

There are many events of our college as every branch conduct there own cultural or technical event as desired month.. though in even semester in April /may our college feat Varchasva happens every year as annual college cultural and technical fest...

Fee structure is based on the comedk rules... As per the course offered same for all engineering courses around 1.7 Lakhs.. every year.. hostel living may cost extra as per room and sharing taken.. like around 80000 for double sharing.. fines are charges as per terms and conditions..

Minor classes are given scholarship according to the criteria of marks obtained.. after verifying the documents needed for that..

There is no gender ratios been done .. though some teachers will make u feel different if u are different state but few teachers are there.. overall the campus is too good recently they have collaborated with Apple, Bosch, Intel and many other MNCs to train us in better way , giving certification courses.. at low cost compared to outside... Rest it has a great infrastructure increasing day by day ..

Mess food is horrible, only Sundays u may like and the first month of admission time ... hostel living may cost extra as per room and sharing taken.. like around 80000 for double sharing.. fines are charges as per terms and conditions... Hostel has a good facility of WiFi, and water coolers

I haven't been in touch with alumni but many passed out students help in many events management and other things. Some are teachers in the same college.

Exam.are never chilled out in any ways.. so we have to give two lab exams of which AVG is taken and given marks in 20. And for internals we have three exams of 30 marks which is taken as two best marks and then AVG of both and then half to make it in 15 and rest marks 5 is for assignments

After giving COMED-K, the counselling dates were announced, I attended 1st counselling in which I got ECE branch as there were no seat left for CSE later I changed in second year. If u don't get desired branch in 1st counselling u may go for 2nd counselling as many do and get their desired branch but that is taking a risk.. depends on person to person.

Teachers are qualified here, though some are very much interested in teaching and some just do their job. Most of them are having the master's degree in Thier own field. same teacher can teach two subjects in two different classes. Though u may face some difficulty with teachers who mostly speak in Kannada and not even English. U have to ask for it if not understood. but we get use to after one year capable of understanding.
