Remarks

There are many good things like its infrastructure and the teachers, I miss those two.The bad things are its administration who always looks into your pocket for the money in the form of fines, Mechanical department HOD madhusudhan who is a racist and don

Entrance Preview

I took COMEDK exam, the score was 124 and honestly I opt for this particular college just because it's location was way good.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

Honestly speaking no one should go for mechanical engineering from this college because there is so much partiality between north and south students, specially the HOD won't give you marks in your projects in final semester.

Internships Opportunities

It provides internships and there is a human resources department which is a good thing in the college. There is no partiality in that department everybody is as treated as others. There were some internships at HMT and KIRLOSKAR.

Placement Experience

1.5

The placement is quite good for the IT students but not good for other branches. Around 50 company visits the college every year but only 2 or 3 for core field jobs. The selection process is transparent there is no cheating in tha. The packages differs from 1.5 lakh to 3.5 lakh per annum.

College Events

1

The main event of the college is varchasva which is also called the college fest. Various games both indoor and outdoor activities are performed in this event also the painting, dancing and speaking competition are performed by the college students and this is open for other students also. The other event involves Tech quest, and various events by various students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

There are two types of fee structure in this college.1- CET students have to pay 35000 per annum ( this is only for Karnataka students)2- COMED-K students have to pay 150000 rs per annum ( this is for other than Karnataka students)It's quite expensive for the management quota students who has to pay just double what a COMED-K student has to pay.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, the college is made only for taking the fines but not providing any economical help to the poor students.

Campus Life

2.5

The campus life is not there in the college because 85% of attendance at the class is compulsory and if anyone fails to do this the administration fines a huge amount on him If you are sick also you have to be in class otherwise pay the amount to the fucking HOD. The gender ratio is almost equal in other departments but not in mechanical and civil engineering.

Hostel Facilities

2

The hostel facility is very good the food is also good as compared to other colleges. The hostel is so clean and the food and water is also hygienic. The hostel fee is aroud 60000 and its worth it.The food contains both north Indian and south Indian dishes.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes the seniors were good There is no ragging in the college as this is banned by the administration. They will interact you and there is no bar between. If you need help they will always be there for you.

Exam Structure

The college is affiliated with V.T.U The examination process is decided in two sections labs and written test. Labs and viva carries 50 marks+25marks internal exam And written test carries 100 marks + 25 marks internal Overall it's 900 marks exam and you

Faculty

2

The teachers are well experienced and good, but as there is so much politics in that particular department, the HOD always interfares in everything and this is the only problem with them. In general all the faculty member are good enough to make you a goo

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is a mix of both Computer Science and AIML which is increasingly relevant in today's world. Second year: Subjects like Mathematics for AIML, Data Structures, Stats for Data Science, Computer Networks, Third year: DBMS, ANN, ML operations Some other elevtives are also available and courses like Universal Human Values, POME, EIPR etc. Honestly, POME, EIPR, UHV should have less course credits and probably MCQ type exams (like IC and Yoga in first year). Curriculum is good and updating for applications helped along with projects. Exams are generally once in a month, 1.5 - 2 units for each subject each exam. Lab exams at the very end before CIE marks finalization. Then 2 weeks gap for Lab SEE, then 1 week gap and actual SEE's.

From 6th semester we will become eligible for campus placements. Very few companies will visit for chemical engineering those are aslo not core. Highest package offered for a chemical engineering is 600000 I guess this aslo a long back. But dont take a hope on placements here in chemical weapons. Do mainly focus on Gate exam. Get good score go for mtech or apply for good core jobs for interview.
