Remarks

Not as such specific eligibility. There is an exam callled cucet but it is also for scholarship only. We can find the application form on its website of CU itself. They are very delaying in responding, in admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I had chosen BE CSE with a specialization in AI and ML. There are almost 5000 faculty members and the ratio is also good. Teachers are qualified and have a student-friendly method of teaching. There are exams every month including practicals.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 105000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Till now I hadn't got any internship opportunities but as per seniors TCS, INFOSYS, etc are some companies that give internship opportunities They give 20-25 k per month for internship. In simple words, internships are easily available.

Placement Experience

4.5

Students became eligible from the very 1st year for placements. I don't know about exact numbers but many companies visit here. The highest package is around 50 LPA and the lowest is around 2lpa. Avg is 3.5 LPA. Almost 60 percent of students get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are definitely on the higher side. For my course, it is 105000. In the upcoming year, it will be 106000 for newcomer students. I availed scholarship on a CUCET basis. If got marks above 80 out of 100 and a good 40 percent of scholarship.

Campus Life

4.5

There are fests like CU fest which are very fun. One can take part in his/her desired field and win prices and also celebs like Sidhu moosewala, gippy Grewal also visits here The sports sector is also good here, equipment are easily available and many events also gets conducted by the university.

Interview Experience

As told before there is no specific exam for admission. Anyone can take admission if seats are available and anyone can give CUCET in the 1st year to avail of a scholarship and if the student maintains 7.5 or above cgpa on yearly basis then the scholarship will get continued for the next year also.

More personalized mentorship and regular career guidance sessions would help student prepare for their future carees.
more internship opportunities would further improve students professional growth.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the CSE curriculum covers relevant subjects and provides a good foundation programming and computer science. It prepares students for futher studies and careers, through more industry-based projects and practical learning would be bemigficial. Exams include MSTs and ESTs, with a manageable difficulty level through regi;ar preparation.

Dislikes

A TOUR TO CGC LANDRAN

Likes

Events are more frequent here and most of the stars from punjabi industry are called more often for film promotions
No ragging is there infact seniors are friendly and try to help juniors
TPP (training and placement program) is provided that help students to crack placements

Dislikes

Attendance criteria (minimum 75 % is essential to maintain to be eligible to give exams)
Class timings are fixed from 9:15 to 4:35 and you can not enter in between 10 to 12:00 PM as gates are closed for this duration
Strength is rapidly increasing as new courses are introduced which increases competition during placements

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent, from 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement students need to enroll in TPP(Training and placement program) in order to get eligible for campus placement, Many companies visit our campus for eg Capgemini, LNT, ZSCALER, EDIFECS, AMAZON, PWC, WATCHGUARD TECHNOLOGIES etc overall above 200 offerrs are made to our senior batch with the highest package of 32LPA and average package of around 4.5LPA. more than 60% of students get placed . I am also sitting for campus placement and wish to get placed soon

College Life is Fun, Various activities and events happen in and around college, you got to know about others and crowd is also decent, Mostly Students are from northern regions that is Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand .
Teachers are good and placement coordinators also help students to get good package on campus. a decent package can be bagged by a student if he/she seriously study and obtain a decent CGPA in exam. Make sure you clear all exams till 8th semester.
Infrastructure Is also good, laboratories are fitted with new desktops and campus size is also decent, Tuck shops and various Canteens are available inside the campus. Also Central Library is there inside the campus where students can study in exam t

Dislikes

The curriculum for 1st and 2nd semester is purely based on subjects that you studied in 11th and 12th, the advance versions of those topics are there in 1st and 2nd semester which make it difficult for students to get good grades.
The placement in other branches like Mechanical, electrical is mere, and one can face difficult in getting on campus placement if he/she belongs to these streams. Also Lack of practical knowledge is there in these streams, Theory is more focused.
If one opt for hostels, then the hostel facilities are not as good as it should be , the mess food is pathetic and one can face difficulty if he/she opt for hostel, also campartively hostel fees are also very high, whereas nearby Pg's are cheaper

Placement Experience:

placement is good in our college. Aveage package is 400000, and average package for cse stream is approx 500000. Various companies like alstom, infosys, accenture, TCS, Wipro, amazon, Walmart, JP Morgan chase and co. etc visit campus every year and recruit students. Approx 300+ companies visit campus and above 80% of cse students are placed but In other streams like ECE.EE and ME etc placements are campartively lower and students face difficulty in order to get placed. MY plan is job oriented i also want to get placed on campus and hope so i will get placed in a good company.
