Remarks

At Bajaj you learn that three things are elastic: hunger, sleep and patience. Over the past eight months, students here have become super-humans bordering on the extreme limits of all the three parameters. But amidst all this rush the one thing that binds us is the unadulterated love for this unique college. And that is why, I can proudly say that if there is MBA on earth ‘It is here; it is here; it is here!’

Entrance Preview

I wrote CAT, CET, SNAP, XAT amongst other MBA admission exams. I scored decently in all of them and ultimately (after GD/PI) I had to choose between IIM Indore/SIBM/New IIMs/JBIMS. I chose JBIMS because this was the only institution which ranked in top 10 MBA institutes in India which I had converted. Secondly, the fees for the 2 year course (Rs. 1lakh/year) were another factor which weighed in favor.

5

JBIMS holds an annual technical +cultural festival titled Prayaag. We also conduct E-confluence- An Entrepreneurship focused event. Also, International Research Conference is conducted to promote the researcher within a student. B-school students and professors from across the country participate and compete amongst each other.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee for the academic years 2015-17 was Rs. 1 lakh/year. One of the cheapest fee structure among B-schools all over the world. When compared with the output that a student takes with him after graduating from JBIMS the course fee seems nothing. That is why JBIMS is the second best B-school in the country in terms of Return on Investment.

Fees and Financial Aid

Help is provided by alumni committee to deserving students. More information would be shared with the deserving and needy student once he enrolls for the program.

Campus Life

3.5

The campus life is very active because a lot of activities are going on at any point of time at the campus. Guest lecture, Workshops, corporate competitions and attending academic lectures are a part of everyday campus life. JBIMS has a healthy gender ratio in all of its batches. It is usually around 1:6.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel facility is available from the University of Mumbai in which institute has 25 seats for boys. The hostel is available only for students who have completed their post graduation from outside Mumbai University. The hostel rooms are 3 sharing. Food is decent. If one decides to stay at flat then the average rent goes around 10k/month. The food and other expenses would stand at around Rs.6000/month

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is very active. We have a separate team who keeps in touch with them. All the alumni are very helpful and one can approach them at anytime with any issues may it be work related or personal.

Exam Structure

You are always occupied with some activity at JBIMS which keeps you busy throughout the day. Sleep is a luxury here! Any student, at any particular point of time is either preparing for a B-School competition or doing some certification course or preparing for the next academic test.

Admission

The admission process for the academic year 2016-17 were conducted through Directorate of technical education (DTE). The process was conducted in the following manner: 0. Appear for any of the qualifying entrance exams. 1. Register for the CAP rounds. 2. Fill out option forms. 3. Report to the allotted college.

Faculty

5

Most of the faculties are visiting faculties who have a good industry experience in the subjects which they teach. They are considered masters in their respective fields within the industry and they teach at JBIMS solely because they like teaching. Hence, I would say that the quality of faculty is outstanding at JBIMS.

College is almost good .this for those who want only masters but no placement .if you also want to get placed in any company need only degree ur welcome. The management is worst the nonteaching staff doesn't know how to talk with students especially the admission office. I here declare whatever I have seen and suffered I presented my view about this college to you, not it's your choice to go to heaven like symbiosis or choose hell. I was misguided and helpless so I came here means I got fewer marks in a snap so please students appear for snap sincerely.
