I was eligible as I completed my 12th. Applying was very easy all the process is done online everything is provided in the email Also, the faculty contacted me and resolved any confusion or questions regarding the course also I was provided with on-call career consultation

Course Curriculum Overview

I've been interested in journalism since my childhood also I find it very interesting to learn various aspects of it with this course I also get to learn many things like design and personality development which has helped me a lot in my life in general. The pre-recorded classes you can choose to take at your own preferred time which is very much convenient for me also we are provided with live sessions every week for different subjects with well-trained faculty members where sufficient time is provided for everyone to ask any doubts. Overall faculty is very experienced and the teaching methods are quite helpful. Exams are held every semester (6 months) on an online platform and if you attend the classes and go through the recorded stuff you will surely get through your exams very easily

Internships Opportunities

Sony, ESPN, GE capital, NIIT, CITI, SBI Life I am in my 3rd Semester and I do not have much knowledge about the project and outcomes to clarify the tasks but these companies provide placements for the students

Placement Experience

After completion of the 5 semesters, they provide us with opportunities to be able to start various virtual job fairs and assistance in many renowned companies like Sony, Samsung, Adobe, ESPN, Etc with packages starting from 6-7 lacs to 12 -15 lacs per annum depending upon the student. After this, I am planning to go for an internship if I get the opportunity from the college in some media company and after that, I'll look for a job and also I am thinking to further do master's with the same college

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is very flexible as you can choose to pay one time or semester-wise. I wouldn't call it affordable for an online course but provided the name of the college and resources provided I find it ok I have Ned received any scholarship or financial assistance from college so I am informed about that

Campus Life

Many things happen on campus but since I am an online student I never visit the campus classrooms online so being at your place and studying whenever you want is quite an amenity for me. The college also provides invites to various online/offline workshops happening nearby through emails.

Great learning environment, experienced faculty, and value for money education.

Likes

The faculty members are very supportive, highly experienced, and always ready to help students with their queries.
The course fee is extremely affordable and provides great value for money for students in this region.
The campus has a peaceful learning environment with a good gender ratio of around 1:1 for boys and girls.

Dislikes

On-campus placement opportunities are limited, and students mostly need to look for off-campus jobs.
Campus infrastructure needs modernization, including better Wi-Fi access and updated lab equipment.
More practical exposure and industry-oriented training programs should be added to the curriculum.

I chose this course because it covers all essential topics required for higher studies. The curriculum is detailed and helps build strong subject basics. Teaching methods are traditional, so adding more interactive sessions and skill-based learning would be a great improvement. Exams take place every semester along with internal class tests, which helps in continuous evaluation without extra stress

Our curriculum is Industry oriented which includes academic as well as practical learning.
Our college conducted regular workshops, seminars and guest lectures by media professionals.
Experienced and supportive faculty members. All teachers are approachable and provide personal guidance.

A Balanced Review of My College Journey

Likes

The college regularly organizes seminars, cultural events, and technical activities, helping students improve their confidence and skills.
The library, computer labs, and classrooms are well-maintained, providing a good environment for learning.
The teachers are experienced and explain concepts clearly. They are approachable and supportive whenever students need guidance.

Dislikes

Some practical sessions need better equipment and more hands-on training to match industry needs.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our College are decent. Students become eligible from the 5th/6th semester, and companies from media, PR, and digital marketing fields visit for recruitment. The placement cell also provides training, internships, and guidance. After graduation, I plan to explore both campus and off-campus opportunities in media and communication fields.

They give us lots of opportunities before summer vacations in terms of internship and after the final semester of exams they take our interview and give exact amount of opportunities and don't disappoint us

Likes

The faculty of the college is very supportive and understanding
The campus is also very nice you can easily find your comfort in that campus
Classrooms have unique facilities with smart board in every class and every class room is air conditioned

Dislikes

The first thing I don't like is the college food from canteen because it doesn't not have many options
The second thing I don't like is the sports facilities in the college because there are not every sports available specially football is not available
The third i don't like when the mobile network doesn't come in the college and we face a lot of problems for this

Placement Experience:

Let me talk about the placement of this college the placements and internship facilities of this college are very good for every student who are studying in this college the famous companies such as AVP news ,Aaj Tak , the truth 24 and various news channel comes for placement and internships almost each student gets placed

Likes

I liked the safe enviornment of the college
All the teachers are very supportive and helpful
The concepts are easily understood by the students

Dislikes

The variety of the food can be more but its not so
There are many activities which can be restricted
No fixed timing od dispersal sometimes you have to be extra time

Likes

The fees is affordable in comparison to Delhi University.
The scholarship scheme is definitely helpful for those who are economically weak.
The main campus has a central library so its quite helpful

Dislikes

The books in the central library are quite outdated
The lack of infrastructure in the affiliated colleges of AU
No merit based scholarship scheme available for the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm from humanities background so the course is quite relevant for me. The course is quite outdated however it's the same for most of the universities. the curriculum should be aligned with the competitive exams and the teaching methods should be more inclusive about the competitive exams so that the student can prepare well not only for the present course but also further upcoming exams.

I like their distance education so that students can complete their graduation

The other college that I saw was CU. The faculty there wasn't good as Amity University. There were many flaws like unattentive staff, late replies from the faculty while taking admission.
