There are no such eligibility criteria for admission at Chandigarh University in BE in Computer Science. One needs to have decent passing marks in his subjects in board exams and you're good to go. Apart from this Chandigarh University has its very own entrance cum scholarship exam called CUCET through which you can avail of up to 100% scholarship on your tuition fees by performing well at it. There are different scoring sections and you get a scholarship based on that. Reservation is there for especially Defense wards and as such no reservations are there it is a completely nonbiased University in that term.

I chose this course because I was always very clear in my mind that I want to continue with Computer Science and this university provided me with that. The faculty here at Chandigarh University is very diverse and helpful in its own right. We have faculties from all over different regions of India. They're quite good at their subject. Our university is very punctual in its own right. Even though we had our semester started very late due to the Covid outbreak bit still the university managed to cover up and by the next year, we are gain on track as always with the academic calendar used to proceed.

Students are I guess eligible for campus placement right from their onset of 5/6 the semesters with internship opportunities. A huge number of companies visit Chandigarh University for recruitment. Last year more than 300+ companies visited the campus for placements. Companies like Google, Atlassian, Microsoft, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and Delloite are a few of them. Our University had the highest Placement of 52 lakhs this year with average placement still not sure. Chandigarh University guarantees 100% placements for students opting for placements.

Fees at Chandigarh University are different for different courses as it provides a variety of courses. For our batch, we had a 90 thousand tuition fee, 2 thousand exam fee per semester, and an annual hostel fee of 90 thousand for a 4-seater room. There are scholarship opportunities for everyone based on entrance exams and even board exam grades through which you can avail yourself up to 100% scholarship. University has also a tie-up with different banks which helps you in getting an education loan for financial assistance.

Campus life at Chandigarh University is one of the best things you can ever get to experience. University has all sorts of clubs and societies be it drama, culture, music, dance, arts, coding, debate, fine arts, leadership, entrepreneurship, sports, athletics, and whatnot. We have always some or other programs going on where you can participate and grow your personality. You can do whatever you want with so much freedom with lots of opportunities provided. Chandigarh University provides you with a campus hostel for both girls and boys. They provide you with all the options of accommodation. You can choose a single-seater ac room, single-seater non-ac room, double seater, triple seater, four seaters, and even 5 seaters. Fees of all range between 80 thousand to 1.5 lakhs per year with all facilities including mess Wi-Fi/internet. Food at the mess is very well and clean plus not just every day but every meal is different with a pre-provided routine for an entire week. You get 4 meals in a day and nonveg twice to thrice a week. Apart from this, there are so many PGs available outside the campus for people who want to live away from certain restrictions. I don't have any more idea about PGs but they are equally good.
