Remarks
To take admission there is an exam named cucet but it is not an entrance test, this is a scholarship test. Marks of these tests will decide how many scholarships will you get in the semester fee. If you have a good percentage then there is no need of giving a scholarship test you will automatically get a 50 percent scholarship in semester fees. To maintain this scholarship, you have to maintain at least 7.5 cgpa.
Course Curriculum Overview
In the first year, you will be having a lot of subjects around 10 to 11 subjects overall. And talking about teachers and professors, then there are mostly freshers which are seeking some experience but experienced teachers are there also.
Internships Opportunities
There are many companies that visit at the time of campus placement. They provide ample opportunities for internships. Mostly they start coming in the 6th semester. In tpp mock interviews will be held with students.
Placement Experience
60 percent of the students on the campus are from the computer science branch. So companies come on the campus but to become eligible for the placement you have to enroll yourself in the TPP program which means a training and placement program.
Fees and Financial Aid
To avail of scholarship, there is an exam called cucet, this happens twice a year. If you scored 80 out of 100 then you will be getting a 50 percent scholarship and to maintain this in all semesters you had to score a 7.5 cgpa at least. There is loan facility is also present on the campus.
Campus Life
For freshers there is a 7-day mini-fest is organized called festivity and an annual fest is celebrated named cu fest in the month of march. Mostly Punjabi artists take part in the fest. Overall that was a real-time enjoyment for the students.
