Remarks

The admission process was fast enough, it doesn't require any entrance exam to clear. Just the necessary documents were required like 12th or 10th certificate, T.C of school and D.o.b certificate. For the eligibility of b.com(h), the student must have at least 48% in commerce in the 12th class. To search for the application dates and process we need to search for graphic era online portal.com. Now Coming to the reservation segment, the students from Uttarakhand will get a 25% of concession in their fees with that the Sc/St will get a 10% concession in their fees. The only thing that I would like to change about the admission process is that they should limit the admissions in a day to reduce the rush.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The main reason I joined this college is that the faculty of commerce here is quite appreciable, the teachers are highly qualified and they have good knowledge of the subject they teach. Our college has a large no. of staff I would say for every 70-80 students there is a teacher. The faculties here not only just teach the subject but they prepare the students for the future also by giving knowledge out of the box. With that, semester-wise exams are being held here which are moderate in difficulty, the final sem requires a Lil bit of push.

Placement Experience

3

The placement cell of the graphic era has nearly 7-8 companies that visit here to join the potential students with them. Companies such as Amazon, Deloitte, and cognizant come here and offer an average package of 6.2 LPA, a minimum of 4LPA and a maximum of 25LPA for the job roles like junior assistant, analyst and accountant. Last year from my course around 12-15 students got placed in those reputed companies. For placement, The students become eligible in the last and second last semesters. Next year when I'll graduate I think I will get placement in some company and with that, I'll prepare for CAT

Fees and Financial Aid

Talking about my fees, for the total course I paid 321000 with all the concessions included. In the first year, I paid 88000 and this fee keep on increasing till the 3rd year by nearly 2000-3000. The concessions included are: if a student is a resident of Uttarakhand, he/she will get a concession of 25%, If a student has any sibling studying in graphic era deemed or hill university he/she will get a concession of 15%, some scholarships are also provided according to percentage in 12th: 90-100%> ?12000 80-90%> ?6000; 70-80%> ?4000; 60-70%> ?2000

Campus Life

4.5

The infrastructure of the graphic era is well known in the city for its design, it has a big auditorium, cafeteria, labs, sports court, a big ground, and convenient vehicle parking for the students as well as for the teachers. Events and fests called gra-fest are organised periodically where we get to watch different play roles, drama, dance and other entertainments performed by the students which show that management of extracurricular activities for the students has been taken care of. Sports competitions Intra and inter-are held monthly. The classrooms are provided with good ventilation and good seating arrangements. To check on some good posts of the graphic era there is a page on Instagram also with the name gehu official which is run by the students. The amenities provided by the college are worth the fees that we pay here.

Remarks:

The primary factor of chosing the institute was that it is a government college. Secondly, its location (presence of holy ganges near by makes the environment pious).Third being presence of good and safe environment. Facility of library and easy availability of all kind of books, journals, daily newspapers is one of the factors that can attract students. Time to time sports events take place engaging students towards extra curricular activities. And the most important factor affecting one's choice is wisdom, support and mentoring by the faculty and dean here.

Though college was not so much strict which was fun for us it needed to be i think colleges needs to be a bit strict in some of the matters as like exams and the students. Most of the students never attended classes even though they were marked excellent which was not good for the students who came to classes regularly and did hard work to get those excellent marks.
