Remarks

there was no entrance exam for this college but an exam is being held for scholarships in this college named as Cucet. there is no reservation policy in this college but it is having a special quota for sports students. to take admitted to this college is very easy.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen this course because I have had a passion for this course science since my childhood the facility ratio for this course is 4:10 and 1 mentor is provided for each section. faculty is highly qualified two of my facuilty have completed their masters from IIT. there are totally three exams in one semester and the difficulty level is mild.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Internships Opportunities

the internship is a thing which a student can get on their own or if a student wants an internship from college he has to work hard to get an internship from this college but this college provides numerous opportunities for internships and they will also tell you to make accounts on LinkedIn.

Placement Experience

the placements of this college are quite good day by day the placements of this college are increasing as the college is making efforts to give students a good placement and this college is building good international relations which are helping the students to get benefits. in my branch the companies who have visited is royal Enfield, Hyundai, Mahindra, swaraj and some other companies which offer some decent package to the students. the highest package of CSE is 59 lacks per annum and the average package is about 8-10 lakh. my plans are to get a master's degree from Germany.

Fees and Financial Aid

My course fee is 80000 and there is an exam for a scholarship name Cucet by giving that exam you can avail scholarship but you have to maintain a 7.5 CGPA to continue that scholarship. for financial assistance, there is an option for a student loan also.

Campus Life

The campus life of this college is very good as the infrastructure of this college is very good and the campus is also extended very vast and about the anual fest there is named as CU fest which is there for 3-4 days and there is at least 1-2 function in a month. this college has numerous library and one library is open till 8 pm. there are a various number of sports in this college and sports competitions is also there in this college there is also the opportunity for NCC in this college.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

In the room you are provided with the personal almirah and a chair table and a single bed there are a total of 3 boys hostels and three girls hostels and in some hostels, there is a combined toilet and in some hostels, there are common toilets. As I have taken review about the quality of food in hostels of other colleges the food of the hostels at Chandigarh university is good and the hostel is quietly affordable. The registration process for the hostel is through the students portal but the hostel is provided according to availability.

Hostel Fee: INR 90000 per year

The university provides good exposure to technical courses, eventrs , clubs, and extracurricular activities.
The campus has good labs, a library, and facilities that support students academic development.

The fees are high and losing a scholarship due to cgpa requirements can create a significant financial burden.
More personalized mentorship and regular career guidance sessions would help student prepare for their future carees.
more internship opportunities would further improve students professional growth.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the CSE curriculum covers relevant subjects and provides a good foundation programming and computer science. It prepares students for futher studies and careers, through more industry-based projects and practical learning would be bemigficial. Exams include MSTs and ESTs, with a manageable difficulty level through regi;ar preparation.

teachers are so experienced and they are so supportive in here.
the placements in this university are great, all the big tech companies do visit while placements and provide jobs to the deserved students.

Dislikes

All the online courses should be reduced.
nothing is there in the university that is to dislike.
majority of the things are all good in our university.

Placement Experience:

The placemnets in the university starts from the 3 year only. companies comes in the 3rd year, students= can give interviews in this year, and they can get the NOC. wich means you can go for the job or the iinternship and there is no need to take the classes, because you are taking the indyustry level experience in the prior basis also.

Likes

campus life is absolutely banger and it is great to have friends here
crowd is bonkers , except some local peeps , they'd be behaving weird
major events like freshers and orientation , they bring crazzy artists

Dislikes

hectic schedules drain the soul of you .
frequent exams test that are totally unnecesary
attendance is another nuisance , having 75 percent is must

Placement Experience:

placements of 2.8 cr occured but it was only one , most of the placements packages go under 8 lpa and extra fees has to be paid in order to be eligible for placement drives and that too doen't ensure the placement

A TOUR TO CGC LANDRAN

Likes

Events are more frequent here and most of the stars from punjabi industry are called more often for film promotions
No ragging is there infact seniors are friendly and try to help juniors
TPP (training and placement program) is provided that help students to crack placements

Dislikes

Attendance criteria (minimum 75 % is essential to maintain to be eligible to give exams)
Class timings are fixed from 9:15 to 4:35 and you can not enter in between 10 to 12:00 PM as gates are closed for this duration
Strength is rapidly increasing as new courses are introduced which increases competition during placements

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent, from 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement students need to enroll in TPP(Training and placement program) in order to get eligible for campus placement, Many companies visit our campus for eg Capgemini, LNT, ZSCALER, EDIFECS, AMAZON, PWC, WATCHGUARD TECHNOLOGIES etc overall above 200 offerrs are made to our senior batch with the highest package of 32LPA and average package of around 4.5LPA. more than 60% of students get placed . I am also sitting for campus placement and wish to get placed soon

College Life is Fun, Various activities and events happen in and around college, you got to know about others and crowd is also decent, Mostly Students are from northern regions that is Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand .
Teachers are good and placement coordinators also help students to get good package on campus. a decent package can be bagged by a student if he/she seriously study and obtain a decent CGPA in exam. Make sure you clear all exams till 8th semester.
Infrastructure Is also good, laboratories are fitted with new desktops and campus size is also decent, Tuck shops and various Canteens are available inside the campus. Also Central Library is there inside the campus where students can study in exam t

Dislikes

The curriculum for 1st and 2nd semester is purely based on subjects that you studied in 11th and 12th, the advance versions of those topics are there in 1st and 2nd semester which make it difficult for students to get good grades.
The placement in other branches like Mechanical, electrical is mere, and one can face difficult in getting on campus placement if he/she belongs to these streams. Also Lack of practical knowledge is there in these streams, Theory is more focused.
If one opt for hostels, then the hostel facilities are not as good as it should be , the mess food is pathetic and one can face difficulty if he/she opt for hostel, also campartively hostel fees are also very high, whereas nearby Pg's are cheaper

Placement Experience:

placement is good in our college. Aveage package is 400000, and average package for cse stream is approx 500000. Various companies like alstom, infosys, accenture, TCS, Wipro, amazon, Walmart, JP Morgan chase and co. etc visit campus every year and recruit students. Approx 300+ companies visit campus and above 80% of cse students are placed but In other streams like ECE.EE and ME etc placements are campartively lower and students face difficulty in order to get placed. MY plan is job oriented i also want to get placed on campus and hope so i will get placed in a good company.
