Remarks
Niet is a private institute so there is a high chance you will get admission directly but for cse branch, it is better to opt for counseling after clearing JEE. My JEE percentile was 80 but through counseling, I got cse core branch.
Course Curriculum Overview
I always wanted to grab cse branch in NIT or IIT but was not able to. So decided to go with the niet after looking at its fees and nirf ranking which is 145 currently. For cse core branch, there are 5 classes with 60 students in each class. The faculty are very helpful.
Placement Experience
After talking to the seniors, I got to know that the placement training starts in 5 semesters itself. The highest placement from our college was 44 lakh and,6 students were placed but it was off campus. Companies like TCS, Wipro are the mass recruiting company here.
Fees and Financial Aid
For me, the total fees for the first year were 1 lakh 53 thousand per year and from the second year onwards it is. 1 lakh 17 thousand per year which is quite affordable for many students but the only drawback is that we cannot submit the fees per semester we have to submit the total fees together for a year for its college as well as for the hostel.
Campus Life
As a student in the second year, we did not get a freshers party in our first year. It was very disappointing. but it's fine. It has been one month in 2nd year and the college conducts lots of coding contests. As for any other like dance or sports, there are not many opportunities. You will rarely get a chance to perform as the college does not conduct many programs. The library is very spacious and we can take entry at any time and after college, the time is 5 to 7 pm.
