At first, we call an admission officer he gave us further details. No entrance exam for admission We can get the application through the official website of get ww.giet.edu fill the application by depositing 10000-20000 ad +2 certificates In the application process, you get your uniform, identify card, blazer and tie No improvement is needed in the application process it is simple and clear.

Course Curriculum Overview

In Civil engineering, you can opt for many many ways such as entrepreneurship job government jobs as well as you can prepare for gate exam For every 200 students, there are 20 teachers The teachers are well qualified and have an experience of 5 years and all are Ph.D. holders from IIT NITs from all over India The teaching method is very good they are you can understand properly and ask whatever doubts you have For every semester you get a gap of 6 months in the six months you can be well prepared for exams and also extra courses and for and apply for intensive also and do some project work

Class Size: 48Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Placement Experience

After the 6th-semester students are being eligible for campus placements Many companies visit our campus such as TCS Wipro Infosys Cognizant extra marks upgrade Dr. Reddy The highest package was around 34 lakh The average package was around 6 to 8 lack And lowest was 3 lacks 97% of students have placed every year and the percentage gradually increases day by day. I plan to gain experience and strengthen and build skills to get forward.

Fees and Financial Aid

For civil engineering students the fee structure is 80000 per year so the first semester it is 40000 we have to pay 40000 before the examination and also a registration fee of 2000 Yes financial assistant provider

Campus Life

Express is conducted every year in the month after September and in 2022 and 25 years of GIET University there is a special event silver jubilee. There is a wide range of books in the library every type of course as at least 10 to 20 books with different authors varieties you can gain much more knowledge in the library For at least all the classrooms there are the projector-smart ways to gain knowledge through video There are all types of sports grounds like cricket ground volleyball ground basketball there is a separate Sports Club table tennis is also available to test competition are also been held NSS, NCC, plus club, and much more

Hostel Facilities

24/7 Wi-Fi is provided in the hostel and a room sir in excellent condition everyday person comes to clean your room Nonveg is provided 4 days a week and the Race 3 days wedge meal and if you don't eat non veg there is a side is such as a paneer and roti rice is the daily menu and a salad also Now it is very affordable and the registration process is also easy Mera no PG in near to get

The environment of KIIT is best for student as their are students from all over India you learn many things other than just your course.
The college life for the students at KIIT is awesome as the architecture of the university is designed for students to explore every possible thing required by any student.
The fest of KIIT is just best the students enjoy those days the most.

Dislikes

As for me their are no flaws that I can say I dislike in KIIT.

Placement Experience:

The placement was quite good. The one who is disciplined and willing to get placed and surely get placed and the total average was around six LPA and the highest package was 53 LPA, which was offered by the atlassian

Likes

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

Likes

Beautiful campus with lot's of space and with good computer labs
They conduct exam in very smoothly manner

Dislikes

Need to improve administrative building while submitting fees many students face problem
Lab session of some subjects are too long which is around 3 hrs which need to reduce for atleast 2 hrs

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

Have collabs with IBM, Samsung, Capgemini for RnD and NUS singapore , University of North Texas
Our college has hosted International Conferences like IEEE InGAARS 2025and Indocrypt 2025, where scientists had came from NASA, ISRO, all IITs, Foreign Universities, etc
Exposure is Good. The teachers here put efforts to teach and research. Unlike other colleges where teachers comes and roll out PPTs, here every teacher teaches on Board explaining everything properly

Dislikes

Few teachers speak in Odia accent, so it takes couple weeks to adjust
Campus is kind of small (36acres), but its good area for a IIIT, considering IIIT delhi is just 25 acres
3 occupancy hostels for 1st years (same goes for any other NIT/IIIT), but they have a option of single rooms from 2nd year

Placement Experience:

from 6th sem, students are eligible almost 100 companies visited including IBM, VISA, Infosys, DE Shaw etc. Highest is 63 LPA and avg is 12-13LPA 90% placements I may consider doing MBA if I dont get very big package

Teaching style of faculty is excellent and related to practical based

From 6th sem of completion eligible to sit in placement called by campus placement in university. Companies like accenture, techmahindra,tech bee,and wipro comes for hiring. Highest package till now is 29 lpa and lowest is 1.5 lpa. Average package is 5lpa. Mostly 80 percentage of students getting placement from campus drive. My plan after getting degree is getting job from campus drive.

The professor who taught in our class they are taught is best In teaching.
They provide you many opportunities to work upon on you.
The infrastructure of college is good and huge.

Dislikes

The campus is very vast, and you have to walk for every minute of work.
The are very serious about your study and what you are doing
The gate get closed if you get came late even it's 5-10 minute late.

Placement Experience:

It's good as many company come but the placement directly depend on your study and hard work of your 4 year and a pre placement also conduct in 3rd year where you can also get placed. For placement the student should secure 8-10 cgpa for sit in interview exam.

GIET AND IT'S INSIGHTS

I have not applied for any other colleges as I have left with no choice at the end for pursuing Btech and I have not scored good in JEE as I wasn't preparing for opting BTech.So for choosing private colleges in odisha I chose this because the place is remote and it is heard that the climate is very pleasant. The admission process starts at the month of May an amount of 20000 for seat reservation is taken which will be reduced from the final fees i.e. 2,39,000 when you come to the college admission that helds in the month of July inside the campus. The students and parents should come with the credentials required for the admission which are copies and originals of student's adhaar card, 10th and 12th marksheet, Migration certificate, Father's adhaar card . Due to good faculty and provide good facility in laboratory for any kind of research.Education system is high profile level.24 hour open large library due to this system no money is spend in purchasing book.other training classes also available there.international conference are attained every year. study tour facility also available.some social services also provided by the institute.
